    I like that you discussed the difficulties and regrets associated with this build, “learning from someone else’s mistakes” and all that.

    I really is these kinds of videos from you. I know you’re more into the homemade scene than the hvz scene these days, but you always have the coolest mods that are simple to follow.

      R.J. My hvz marathon starts in a couple weeks so I need to get some useable weps together. And yeah that's the idea. These take a lot more energy to put together so if I get one or two a month that's pretty good

    I wish I could find one of these. It seems like a really fun blaster to mod.

    Removing the mag prongs, the thing that keeps the darts from coming out would help if you just slightly shortened breach

    You might need to make the lips of the mag spring loaded like the Magnus to make loading easier.

    my mare leg sentinal i cut the barrel down to the same legeth o f the white bit

    top feeding DOES work excuse u
    you did it wrong, I did it just fine. The spring arm keeps the barrel in a repeatable location for consistency.
    My top feeding and everyone elses works fine, your mag lips are probably way too worn and the finger doesn't need to be cut down all the way.
    >mfw you know me and that I did it well and working and didn't ask

    • @archangel2014
      @archangel2014  Před 6 lety

      Snoop Doggy Doge yours works by retaining the top feeding finger on the dart sleeve and cutting away from the faux front barrel. This means I need to push down any current darts in the mag, and then slide a new one in from the front. I really don't like this because there's a decent change of bending the dart this way and it requires more fingers to move things around. What I was going for was a direct linear downward motion, akin to loading a mag as if it was outside of the blaster entirely. Also worn feed lips? Aside from this being impossible, any "wearing" of feed lips would be infintiesimally small compared to the variation in individual dart wear and geometry

    • @SnoopDoggyDoge
      @SnoopDoggyDoge Před 6 lety

      I have a video of loading it single handedly, and can be a little more complicated as one is pushing it back akin to a shotgun, it does it fine without bending or extreme manipulation. Albeit there is some fine manipulation and not just gross manipulation,
      As for the feed lips, they can definitely be worn out, but in more cases it's the lips being widened. This makes retention of darts p bad, and as its a yellow mag it's been around for a decade + so I would see feeding being not as reliable with those, esp with retention.

    Where can I purchase poly carbonate?

    • @archangel2014
      @archangel2014  Před 6 lety +2

      home depot, mcmaster carr, grainger, etc. Honestlt you can use freaking milk carton plastic or plywood. It's only holding a mag spring so there's no substantial load it needs to bear.
