  • Planning consent is granted. Our plans are fully developed. We have sufficient funds in the bank to secure a loan with the Baptist Union. And we hope to start building in the late-Autumn of this year!
We are just a little short of the necessary monthly pledges to maintain repayments on the loan...
This video presentation tells the story of our journey, expresses our shared vision, speaks of the legacy we hope to leave for future generations and details the next step so that we can move forward in the weeks ahead. Might you be able to help us fulfil the vision God has given us...?
Where Are We In The Journey...?
Although one-off gifts are hugely appreciated and welcomed, at this stage of the journey, your incremental monthly commitment is what will make the difference.
    How Could You Respond...?
Please let us know the amount you are able to pledge on a monthly basis by completing an online pledge form christchurchbaptist.churchsui..., for at least the next 24 months. Needless to say, if your financial circumstances change at any point, you are at liberty to withdraw or change your commitment immediately. It would be so helpful if you could complete your pledge form on or before Sunday 09 June when we will be celebrating the 150th birthday of Christchurch Baptist Church.
    Already Giving To Project Five:One...?
If you are already giving to Project Five:One, could you consider increasing your monthly pledge? For example, if 100 people could give an additional £50-75 per month (or £12.50-£18.75 per week), we would meet our target and be able to start building! Very exciting!
Giving For The First Time To Project Five:One...?
If you are not yet giving to Project Five:One, we'd be so grateful if you would consider making a monthly pledge. Every commitment will enable us to mutually fulfil the vision God has given us as a church family.
    How To Respond...?
Please use our online pledge form (link below) to indicate your commitment and then make the necessary standing order arrangements with your bank. This form is confidential to our Church Treasurer and Finance Administrator who will be pleased to help if you have any questions or queries: finance@christchurchbaptist.org.uk
    Pledge Form: christchurchbaptist.churchsui...
    What Happens Next...?
Once you've submitted your pledge from, we'll respond with an appreciation of thanks which includes the Project Five:One bank account details and a GiftAid declaration (just in case you are a UK tax payer and we don't yet hold a declaration for you).
On Tuesday 14 May, we'll be hosting two special prayer gatherings, 12.15pm and 7pm, at which the various detailed plans of the new build will be available to see. We hope you can join us. Our Leadership Team and Build Team will be there to answer any questions you might have. In the meantime, our website has various pans which you might want to see too: www.christchurchbaptist.org.uk/projectfiveone
God bless you and thank you for considering how you might be able to support the vision God has given us.
