I’ve been using this Shipt app as a side hustle doing $100/day goal and I’m telling you, it is the best supplemental income in my region. I work a part time job in the hospital whiling doing this 2-3 hours a day for my $100/hr. I only done 300+ orders thus far but I know the in’s and the out’s of the app in my metro that doesn’t even offer alcohol delivery. I can easily make over a 1,000 bux a week if I do it full time. So Shipt is a 10 out of 10 for me!
I watched this video because I use Shipt to have my groceries delivered 1-2 times a week and I wanted to understand how hard my shoppers work and what they are paid so that I know my tips are fair! I definitely tip more when I get more updates and someone goes above and beyond for me (asking for an item they can’t find, offering substitutes for out of stock items, being quick / delivering early etc). And of course kindness. I appreciate kindness and professionalism ❤.
It's not all sunshines and daisy's as she is talking about, the most frustrating thing is when customers take too long to respond to substitutions.... if they are taking too long and waiting for a sub just mark not found... you shouldn't wait around if they are not going to respond...
I had this last night and did exactly this! I was already going to be late so no way was I waiting for him to respond and thank goodness I didn't because he didn't respond!
Ugh literally this lady made me walk to the chip isle 6 times!! To retell her what ruffles they had and what size 💀 then I had to ask 2 workers for some cookies that they didn’t even know existed I even asked the lady where she got them and she said “idk I got them their before it’s in plastic” so then they had to call someone and guess what! It was in one singular checkout lane. So annoying.
I’ve been a driver for 5 years . I’ve worked with Uber , door dash , Instacart and now shipt. In 2020 my husband and I bought our first home . Brand new built . And last week we closed on our second home . Which hasn’t been built yet . Driving has allowed me To be with my son more and still make money . Enough to buy two homes ! My husband is a local truck driver. Our houses will be our investments, and in about 2 more years we want to buy a 3rd. Driving is not something that should be forever, but figure out a plan to save your money and make a better life for yourself. The money is great!

Nah you’re choosing the wrong orders and locations. Tips alone will bring you more money and less work than Amazon Flex. A great idea is to provide above average customer service. Amazon Flex you’ll deliver 40 plus packages to forty different customers and locations in a four to five hour shift for $125 if (it’s a huge if) you can beat the bots $165.

I’ve done over 60 deliveries in two weeks for Shipt and over 400 for Amazon Flex in 3wks made the same amount of money 😂 40 deliveries for Jitsu in two days because they don’t pay well enough for my sized vehicle. Instead they increased the amount of boxes but not the price. It would be enough if the pickup was nearby. But back to your question. No tip just look for what works for you. I’m a natural customer forward kind of guy. So I’m constantly speaking to the customers on every app. That is where your money is!

I got a 1* from a new customer because an item was out of stock and it was a do not substitute. I took a picture and submitted it on delivery of the two in stock items that were delivered. But the customer said an item was missing because they didn’t understand it was out of stock.
Not worth it in my area, not too many offers close to my area, plus you have to go fishing for offers because a lot of Shipt shoppers are waiting when offers drops every hour. It’s like a first come, first serve basis. You have to work long hours just to make your quota if you’re aiming your target amount. If you’re a family person, it’s not a advisable. THE WORST PART avoid orders with cases of waters and beverages especially if you deliver it in a 5th floor apartment.
Offers drop at a specific time? I always wondered why I never saw orders until I saw a lot. What’s that about? I never see orders and if I do they’re only $8. Is it because I’m not getting as many as them due to being a beginner? Do I not see the tips until after I accept/finish?
@@dyantha710 every hour it drops its like fishing, you have to be fast because it’s a first come first served basis. Make an alarm every hour and you have to refresh the app frequently for the first minute.

I just started and so far I've done about 12 orders total and only received a $10 extra tip ...which is shocking to me honestly that people don't tip you for doing their work for them. I just currently started with Instacart, but I'm noticing a lot of shoppers are saying Instacart will shut down (no orders) at a certain time. So I'm hoping to backdoor it with Shipt. I signed up because of your video! Thank You! (I did stay until the end)
Be careful with using the App and make sure you can complete the orders on time. If you are late, they will permanently deactivate your account (fire) you in an email with no warning and with no forgiveness or second chances.
Man Target pre paid customers don’t tip on the Friday before Christmas. The only customers that tipped were ones that were non prepaid. All the prepaid ones didn’t tip. It is so weird because I delivered to this customer and I delivered to them before on a different app and they tip very nicely. No tip on Target pre paid. Crap!!!
Sometimes the items will not be where it says on the app. Speak with a team member and the customer. Sometimes the customer will know exactly where these items are located as well.

I’m hoping the offers get better, I started my account & have yet to take a order. I’m not motivated by these $6-$10 estimates 😂for 10 plus items. I honestly get more doing doordash in less time. Thought this would be good for making extra cash, but so far not for me.
Shipt vs Instagram. Who wins? I just got set up for shipt. Yet to do a order. They sent me 3 orders when I scheduled. First was $8 for 40 gallons of milk. About 4 miles. So a no on that. The other 2 showed up when I wasn't holding a phone. Other than. That I occasionally see open market orders but not knowing the tip I'm not sure what to expect. Seems like I'd want at least 20ish for those if I was on Instagram and all I see is the 8ish offer.
What does the stripe account have to do with shipt I got hired I got my ship debit card for the customers to put the money on everything do I have to make a stripe account to get paid or this stripe not have nothing to do with this
I have a question. When I pick my schedule do I have to be physically in my shopping zone during my time slot or can I wait at home for a batch. I live about 10 min from my zone. When I accept the batch does the time start then or does it factor in driving time.

The cases of water killed me 😂 people in apartments really think you have time to make 12 trips on the elevator to their door like yah right.

I just applied. Waiting for background check. What is the name of the app to track vehicle information like miles, gas, etc?
