Super helpful, I live in town, but have a decent size yard with multiple fruit trees in certain areas that I need to plant under, so this is really helpful. I used to do clover but it’s so expensive so this year I did oats from my chicken scratch grains lol. Super cheap and it’s growing nicely. We have clay soil here in Illinois, where I live, and I never till. I just build the ground up. After I lay my groundcover seed down I just let the big dogs go out back and run around to kind of scratch it in a bit. It worked really well.
I accidentally renovated a pasture one time by discing the heck out of it real early for planting soy and then it got real muddy for a long time and when I finally got back there it was beautiful,,All the grass that hadn't been doing well, but afterwards it is tremendous ever since. Slicing those roots made a difference
Great content you all. Keep them coming.
