  • REVIC BR4 Ballistic Rangefinder Overview. In this episode Epic Outdoors Consultant, Josh Pollock, gives us an overview of the new Revic BR4 Ballistic Rangefinder now carried at Epic Outdoors. Josh spent time in the field with the rangefinder and was impressed with what he found. This rangefinder is as good as anything we've ever tried. What ballistics program is built in? Is it a proprietary program of Revic, Applied Ballistics Elite, Applied Ballistics Ultralight or what?

If the presenter had said what he meant when repeatedly saying "pulls those in" then the presentation would have been helpful. As it was, "Pulls those in" doesn't mean anything with the many metrics he mentioned. Where's the data coming from? Does the rangefinder detect elevation? angle? using what mechanism? or do you program that in? Very vague.

The BR4 has the sensors on the device. Pressure and Temp are exposed to external. Compass and Inclinometer also built in.
