CN Crew Yells, “Get A F*cking Life!” Chasing a KCS SD70ACe On point In Michigan!!

- Back in Spring of 2021 I heard of a KCS Leading a Unit train on the CN Flint sub, this is a rare occurrence so I decided too pursue it snd give it a short chase and got it Twice with backlit shots. Two days later I was given a heads up that it was making a return trip on Train 501 so I headed out too Cory Yard in Lansing too get it. Now I got it Doubling and Tripling out of the yard so I ended up with it 3 times in 4 miles and I guess the Engineer of our train didn’t like it so we got the only disrespectful words I’ve ever received for a crew at CP Potterville…. I’m sure he liked seeing me 2 more times after that lol. I hope you guys enjoy this one!

Hey. I’m sorry that you went through such a rude encounter with that mean CN engineer. I’m also a Railfan myself and I have no problem chasing trains! I pity the people who work for the railroad that have bad attitudes and if this happens to me, be aware that there will be consequences and I don’t tolerate disruptive actions against train enthusiasts (like myself) and the people with railroad companies!
All I want you to do is have fun chasing the trains in a safe and comfortable environment! Don’t let it get to you!

Your right, but I did see the nicest crew I’ve ever seen. I was chasing a CSX coal train from Huntington, to kanawha city WV. Every stop I made, they horn saluted, and at the last spot they horn saluted and the conductor leaned have of his body out of the train and waved!
As a P/T RR employee and railfan, comment may not have been appropriate.. however, a small number of raill fans paint a picture for many, and having even very recently witnessed a group of "professional" photographers getting to close to the tracks to get that great shot, it freaked out several crews where they needed to get the railroad police out. A vast majority of railfans are responsible and respectful, but there are also too many crews that have been involved with incidents. Keep in mind, this is commerce, peoples livelihoods and a job in a time when railroads are short staffed, morale is low and a number of recent incidents and accidents have everyone on edge. Keep preaching to the rule breakers and idiots who cause these crews to be on edge. Otherwise, guys like you AmtrakFlareon, keep up the good work and don't let these rare occasions deter you.

Ya that would be a very weird thing too think about, we only get a KCS on the Flint sub like once a year and if that happens it’s gonna be like seeing a IC or GTW when they first merged.
I was in Columbus Ohio I believe, I was pulling out of a bob evans and I saw a KCS, CN, and NS,PULLING A TANK TRAIN

I know when my days off are. Don't get stuck in motels waiting for trip back. Don't get called into work any time of the day with a couple hours notice. Ya, I already got a life.

I don't know if the video maker is aware of this but that wasn't a railroad employee. Needless to say it was invited guest in the cab - that is only as far as the matter will be elucidated from this end. Obviously against railroad standards 101.
What information do you have too prove that?
I worked with NS 12 years before they shipped my job to Atlanta, the opinion is your supposed to hate your job and no railfans should work for the railroad because they think they come into the job knowing it all, plus that they won't focus on the job. I beg to differ with that notion though. I left because I hated living in Atlanta and health reasons needing me to be with family. Sorry, it's a shame popular opinion is just because one hates their job, you are supposed to dislike what they do as well and only jump for joy over over paid jocks chasing pigskin over a football astro turf all while getting drunk to be considered "Having a life" in many peoples mind, lol.
