i agree with him i think the worst part of rollercoasters is that the climbing hill start part
is really nerve racking but the rest is fun
because you can see his emotions change Quick

Awesome. Just took my 6 year old who loves coasters on the stratos fear drop ride. She cried hysterically, from the top to the bottom. I had to pick her up to get her off because she was so upset. Within seconds, she said to me "let's do it again". Kids are still learning to process that being afraid in a controlled setting is fun. It is literally an emotional roller coaster for them.

This is pure gold! I remember my first ride on a rollercoaster and I was scared but my stepdad was the kind of guy to say "don't scream". He meant business. Ahhh the late 80s lol. This coaster went upside down and twirled around twice but was short. It wasn't like these coasters today. I think it's great she immediately starts having fun when the ride goes down. That is how I was. After that first moment of fear it becomes enjoyable and then you want to go on it again and again. It's great for the parent to see how happy she gets. A joy to watch.

This is what happens 95% of the time with those scared of rides - once they are actually on them and realise they can just let go of the fear and have fun and that it's perfectly safe, they enjoy it! I myself became a coaster addict the exact same way, terrified of Desperado which was my first big coaster ever.. I even begged them to reverse the train back into the station as we left LOL. Once the first drop happened, I looked at my friend and said "this is actually FUN!" and thus was born an unstoppable addict. Unfortunately there is that 5% that are so stressed and tightly wound that they will never be able to relax and enjoy it. Thank you for sharing, this was a great video :)

I’m just here to tell you something, but roller coasters are safer than cars, trains, etc. because the harness has the same strength of an airplane flap so imagine that, also that means you have a more chance of 50 sharks eating you, get ran of by 30 cars.

      @@noieboii Fear doesn't give a f about statistics, they don't matter.

    • @demetriusmorgenroth2835

@@Dead25m They do matter, though. It was statistics and knowledge of a roller coaster's inner workings, including restraints, that enabled me to take that risk.
Bumblebees present potential physical harm to people even if you won't die from a sting. Most of the fears when it comes to roller coasters is psychological / fatalist: people are not afraid of the typical effects of a coaster, but of the "what ifs" that they create in their mind.

Bruh I’m 10 yrs old and went on the leviathan! Great ride! I was freaking out while going up but it was the most secure, smooth and fun roller coaster I have been on! I am not the biggest fan of heights but as soon as your going down it’s fine! Really recommend it to anyone!

All you gotta do is not let yourself be scared and know that you’ll have fun. When I first ride talon at Dorney park I did this and that is still one of my most cherished memories.

I was so sad for Sidney at first, because I’ve had that moment where I realized I made a mistake getting on a ride that’s too much for me to handle. But the wondrous joy that we got to see for the majority of the ride, including arms bravely in the air, just made my night.
I got tummy flips just watching - this angle is crazy! - so we all know how awesome Sidney did on the real thing. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Derek Saveriano Behemoth is worse because Leviathan has that one really big hill but after that it’s smooth. After behemoths really big hill there are so many more hills after.

Reassurance is something I’ve never had from my dad with rollercoasters he always got nervous when I was going to theme parks and it just made me scared and ruined the day, parents need to encourage their kids to have fun and be confident not to be scared of doing cool things like this. “Have fun” 🥺

Man what a similar experience I had. It was 2008 or 9 just after behemoth opened, at the time it was the big bad roller coaster everyone was hyped about going on. I was 9years old at the time and deathly afraid of heights and falling. I went with my best friend and his two older brothers, and they made sure our first ride of that morning was the behemoth. I tried to chicken out as we made our way to the front of the line, but both the older brothers insisted I go on the ride and sit front row with them to conquer my fear. They even told me they were going to drive me home if I didn’t go on the ride. ( which was over an hour drive away) so of course I didn’t want to miss out on the rest of the day and forced myself on the ride. Front row.
Had the same experience as this young dood here, only 8years prior. Right after you get over that 2nd hump you stop holding on for just a few seconds and that fear of rollercoasters and even heights starts to loosen their grip on your mind. Very awesome video and glad you guys had fun!
