I deeply appreciate the topics you spoke about here, especially your perspective on how raising a child to remember to connect back to source vs being in the ego of separation.
Thank you for the time you put in to make this video, I’ll be on the lookout for your future videos.

The idea of ambivalence towards one's own mother is not true for a healthy woman. She understands that she is the source creator herself (though 'chosen vessel' might be a more fitting term). There is no need to have a baby to validate this. In fact, young girls exhibit independence due to their inherent power. Unfortunately, for many women this power diminishes around age 30 as society has long perpetuated the notion that women are less valuable and primarily serve as incubators.
A healthy woman only needs men to introduce her to different aspects of life in a patriarchal society, where women's search for identity has been restricted by limited access to resources and opportunities, and it was only allowed for her to identify herself as a mother and a wife. This societal structure stems from the inherent lack in men that you mentioned.
Lastly, the psychoanalysis IS from male perspective, a man who has to define himself in opposition to a woman, as you mentioned. And the opposition to something out is a hole. Even the best of us are guilty for ignoring facts if they are uncomfortable, but fact is that a woman has clitoris, which is outside. It's not talked about enough! It is the most important organ for female pleasure. Vaginal orgasm alone is very rare.
Nonetheless, great content! Food for thought!

Agreed with what you say here. And yeah the clitoris dilemma is interesting. I’ve read books from both male and female psychoanalysts who describe a clitoris only orgasm as a pathology. And they make some good interesting arguments for it. Yet, it’s not something I talk about yet because I still found the ideas to be incomplete. It’s as if the clitoris being outside is treated as an accident. Appreciate your thoughts in your comments :)

@@Ayodiba, Thank you and interesting take on clitoris. However, if you look at biology: how all fetuses supposedly begin as female (although there is some debate on this part), how penis is considered as enlarged clitoris (btw, trans men often have enlarged clitoris due to HRT), what XY is carrying in comparison to XX etc. - it adds an extra layer to your considerations.

A very interesting video. I don't know about other cultures and religions, I just want to add that, with my Muslim background, introducing the notion of souls, God, afterlife early to the child maybe helps in destroying the idolised image of the mother and the womb paradise, with the belief of another supreme and intangible being who is more powerful than the mother, and who will let you achieve that dream state of eternal safety and contentmemt in heaven. We are intended to crave that state from our early years, that cut is necessary but we should find a way to get rid of the mother hating part in the early childhood by some deflection or other way before adulthood. I am also curious how different cultures or other variables may influence differently that ambivalent feelings toward the mother figure. Finding a healthy way to heal that cut may tremendously change positively the quality of relationships between both genders for the future generations.

Yeah at some point I’d be curious myself to dive into this. Yes, it does seem like religious values always served to counteract our psychology essentially. It’s why kings became egomaniacs if they did not believe. There seems to be a need for a higher authority. Some figure to develop your identity towards, as opposed to forming our identities in opposition .

@Ayodiba I am also curious about how this cut and identity quest are processed in abandoned babies who never had a regular primary care person, especially if the care facilities employed both genders to assume this role.

So wasn't a masculine depiction of God created also because of that lack in men is well?

This is a bit of a metaphysical (not sure if it’s the right word here) idea, but if we do believe that there does some to be some other worldly attributes associated with feminine and masculine energy. Then God/religion always had to be a masculine oriented. Because the masculine principle gives rise to creating ideals, forms, rules and shapes. Men “build” an idea of God. Women almost don’t even need to describe a God to be in touch with him/it. Feminine energy is unbound and formless.

@@Ayodiba, Yes, exactly. Built as a prosthesis for the womb, maybe? (Just posing a question, not concluding). And if God is an idea created as a prosthesis for the womb isn’t it always a feminine that is the source of all ideas/inspirations? I mean we kind of know from the myths and legends that it is, but this poses a question isn’t feminine really a giver and masculine a receiver?
