The idea of Guts hallucinating the Band of the Hawk being alive and Casca being sane again is something I'd love to have seen in the manga.
I can see Guts breaking down and crying when his journey is all over (that is if he survives, which he better fucking should). It makes it even more sad thinking his life has been torture, ever since he was born. He doesn't deserve this.

The sad part I just feel like Miuira death means Griffith gets away with it and Guts perpetually suffers.

It's like i am a ghost on Guts' side, walking his path, patting him to convince him everything isn't lost, that Hope is still a thing.
I kinda like this sensation, makes me feel at ease. . .

Beautiful work! I'm usually not much for covers for Don't Fear the Reaper, but this one fits wonderfully with the shots from the game. Guts and Caskas relationship if heartbreaking and this video really shows that!

If your talking about Egg of the King that failed utterly. They essentially made an abridged version of the original anime and cut out all character development and made allot characters less than what they originally were. Namely The Band of the Hawk.

just to let eveone know theres a new berserk anime in the works looks REALY good its a reboot remakeing the berserk season 1 into the manga so its darker,more blood, more of the story of berserk a lot that the anime left out
note: if he havent read the manga its much better and youll want ot fall out of your chair laughing when you see waht gutts says after geting the dragon slayer.
Doubt it's better than "careful, she'll bite something off" during the 100 men battle

it will 90% or more of the manga story line witch is a lot darker and more of a indepth story then the Anime showed (example : in the orginal ep.1 missing char in the bar fight + dont show guts in a cell
(Orginal Mangs : ep.1 (would of had) 1 a char that guts saves -> gutts gets put in a cell -> char saves Guts

mortyr045 actually,no! The new anime is even less similar than manga,it cut of most important scenes... ALSO there is much more light and bad SG.... First version of anime was much better. Of course,non equal the manga.

I know original wouldn't work in this vid, but as completely separate song, I like Blue Öyster Cult version the most. It's beautiful, magical, psychodelic and a little bit mysterious. Gus Black made it sadder and it works, but it's not the same.

Berserk's ending must be dark. Guts must die. I think it would be canonically accurate. But... I don't want that ending. I understand. If Berserk has happy ending and it looks like a dull fanfiction of some fan of Berserk, I will be disappointed. So one and only way is make Berserk dark again. It's bad for us, but right for a story of Berserk. A story of a man, who suffers until his death comes. (sorry for bad English)

I've always imagined that it would end with guts dying. In a way that isn't completely obvious perhaps once he cuts Griffith down he gets that much deserved rest. The last page takes place on the hill of swords with his sword dragon slayer being placed in the center of the it all. Not gruesome, but peaceful. Don't know about anyone else but when thinking about what I said above it also makes me horribly sad.

I also understand where no namer is coming from as well. Some people love berserk for it's pitch black darkness, one of the many reasons I love it as much as I do. But when it comes to guts dying, I think a peaceful death will leave a lasting pain unlike any violent death would. If any manga character has ever earned the right to die peacefully it's guts. His entire life has been a battle against fate literally working against him. And because of that a peaceful death seems so beautiful, and yet so very haunting to me.
