Many thanks to @moredanthings for making the music :) - Jak na to + styl
The music is so nicely in sync with the rhythm of the fall of the ball
This is such a beautiful and well-crafted video, it deserves so much more attention!
You make it look so easy man. I actually got inspired enough by you a while ago to actually try it, but gave up because I could not get the solder to stick to the metal wire... I even used the exact same flux as you! It was quite frustrating...
Did you sand the wire? It might be that the metal has oxidized and is preventing the solder from sticking.
@@whynotanyting If I remember correctly I think I did yeah. Also with a sanding sponge like he uses. Maybe I will have to give it another try when the holidays start!
@@rublie1426 Yeah, then I'm out of troubleshooting ideas. Best of luck!
@@whynotanyting No worries, thanks for trying to help!
You might have needed a more powerful/higher watt soldering iron. A key piece to getting the solder to wet the metal is to get the metal (not just the solder) hot enough. If you are still having issues I would also probably recommend tinning both the pieces before soldering ie. Get solder to coat the parts of the metal pieces you plan on soldering separately, then solder them together. Though this might make the finish a little less clean you could also try using rosin core solder which essentially has flux in the solder. Finally if you are using lead free solder, consider using lead/tin solder. Lead free sounds nice in theory but it’s a real pain to work with and you have to get it much hotter in my experience. Best of luck!
When I saw that egg, I knew I had to subscribe.
Very well done, I really enjoyed watching this. Beautiful craftsmanship too.
These video shorts with a LOT of effort put into them to perfect (he even got the marble at the beginning to go in sync with the music!!!) deserves way more views and way more love and recognition. It's impressive!!!
Are you going to lend me all your freaking tools cause that’s what I need😂😂😂😂
something tells me this is not this guy's first rodeo
Good stuff man.
How did I not know of your channel 🤣😅 new subscriber dude I'm hooked 😃👍 content
Incredible loop
Be aware that straightening wire that way work hardens it
This is what Coolmath Games sounds like
but is there a link to the flux used? its steel wire
Cool 👌
The sound effects annoy me more than I thought they could, a great video tho very interesting!
Yo what the egg doing
Consume
Bruh you're awesome 👏🏼 You're a genius! I'd Like and Subscribe a thousand times if it was possible 💯 #respect_bro ✌🏽
Perfect combination with the music!how did you do it?
very cool
They stopped selling those red-tipped spring clips at Actio.. Oh wait. I bought 5 packs while they were still on their assortiment..
Lol, those semi circles completely unnecessary since the marbles are rolling on the rails only.
What's the diameter of the wire you used? Great short :)
How come you need flux?
Oh what is this music????
Hmmm.... Can I use my cheap chinese 40 watt solder to solder that kind of wire? IIRC, the last time i tried, the tin wouldn't stick to the wire though.... What should i do?
Use at least a 60w if possible. Definite use flux (when In doubt add more). Make sure you sand and give the steel time to heat up. If both pieces aren’t heated up you might not get the solder to adhere/wet properly.
make a soccer table
i want to make a deal with i want to ask if you can make for me miniature machine and i will pay to you
Too much work.
