    At last. A welder that doesn't burn his edge prep away until he caps it. That my friends is the true way to fill a joint up. Any guys that can't see this will never be masters of the game.

      @@tittlemouse92rolling too wide on the last fill before the cap will melt the line between the outside of the pipe and the face of the bevel. Doing that makes having a consistent width cap harder and increases chance of undercut. To help prevent this make sure you let the workpiece cool off between passes

    So do you just hold the filler wire in place and let it melt? Or are you pulling the filler wire while it melts.

    I love this lol step up your game, more tungsten stick out givets you a faster weave and more time for the metal to be in the gas, higher amps and more stick out means faster travel and less heat in the HEZ which is always better. Give it a try and you will be amazed at how much less the metal moves when you weld fast and hot vs slow and pouring heat into the metal with arc time

    I have a question, I’m learning how to tig weld, and I use a miller multimatic 200. What filler wire size do I use for the filler?

    if you're going to walk the cup you're going to have to put a cam on it a lot better in the but not quite yet almost there on your pause you can have to lift more in the center almost real world

    wide slow weave = high heat input =
    exceeding interpass temp = reject

    • @Mephistopheles791
      @Mephistopheles791 Před 8 měsíci

      you've seen the WPS for this job? Also, remember the formula for heat input is divided by travel speed. Looks like he's moving along pretty quickly. often, higher amperage, faster travel=less heat input
