My oldest son and daughter and I are going away for the weekend in a few weeks for the first time in more than 20 years, since before we adopted their siblings. I wanted to make us all something to remember the trip. We are going on a train ride to see the beautiful fall colors. This is perfect! And I love journals with lots of pockets and tuck spots etc. I may add a small signature to a pocket so we can do more writing. Two of us are writers. Thank you so much for this wonderful idea!
Your little booklet is so awesome and cute 🥰. I love how you make your project with little or no tools. This one you used your scissors ✂️, pencil ✏️ for shading and a gel pen 🖊 for decoration. Anyone can make your booklet project. Thank you very much for sharing your ideas!

You are the BEST at these “flippy-floppy” projects Eva. You are so creative at coming up with different processes...like shading the edges with a pencil instead of the ubiquitous ink pads...brilliant...oh, and don’t forget the “smoosh”! 🤣😂👍. Very, very fun! ❤️

Thanks for showing the trick with the pencil shading. I started paper crafting not long ago so until I save up on extra things like distress ink, I’ll use a pencil instead 😊

7:58 A tip my pretty friend: I use pastel chalk :) Even very cheap or expired eyeshadow makeup can be useful :) Some with iridescent powder are great! HUGS!
oh I love this, in the past before there was a name for junk journaling I used to do something like this, but I would use vintage check envelopes and create memorabilia folders to celebrate people in my family. Totally going to create one....I can hear the manila envelopes calling....
