There's actually the chevron pattern on the shoes, however it's a difference in coating in the nike skin, hard to see brand new but my pair that lasted these years now clearly shows the pattern
I personally loved the superfly 2.. I’ve had 13 pairs since they released in pretty much every colour way going and I still wear them even now! I love them! I prefer the synthetic upper to the Flyknit, easier to clean!

You might want to take a closer look at your boot. They did create the chevron on the safari print, only is not light grey vs black dots. There is a yellowish metallic tint that they printed over the safari graphics, very subtle but will stand out under light as the chevron comes across as a warm tint reflection. Check it out.

This 2 mercurials are dreamyyyy , i remember as a kid i went for the green blue and white nike logo mercurial them from the black and orange mercurial , always expecting than they gonna release the safari pattern again , but didnt happen .IM IN LOVE WITH THIS 2020 VERSION .Any chance of giveaway?? I have these in the vapor elite so no sock portion, they always give me blisters on my heels. Anyone have the same problem? The padding for the back of ankle/heel protrudes a bit so maybe I just have the wrong size and it's just rubbing when I run? Help!! Lol

All being my foot is a bit wide/high volume this generation of Mercurials is the first one that did not fit me comfortably. It’s a shame because I wanted these boots so bad 😢 I hope Nike make the next generation a bit more suited to people with slightly wider feet like they did with the Superfly 6/Vapor 12 elites

For me, the chevron situation is similar to what you say about fake boots. The kind of people who is impressed by the retro colorway is expecting the chevron details. It bothers me. Nike decides to bring back one of the most iconic colorways and is to lazy or stingy to do it properly. Man, the bootheads that want the shoe know better.

Ever since mpappe and Ronaldo rape case Nike has stopped adding Cr7 branding. Nike gave Ronaldo and mpappe the same signature boot for some reason. This sucks because Ronaldo has been earning Nike millions in marketing and now they dont even want to include cr7 on the bag at least.
