- Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance's latest collab saw the release of three colourways of the 1000 silhouette. Releasing in black, white, and this one - the Grey colourway, which was exclusive to ALD's website. They feature a mix of genuine leathers, synthetic overlays and reflective panels. The shark teeth hidden detail for this grey colorway is the best part for me. They’re dope in person too.
Yes! This was my colorway of choice. Dope shirt, great review! This was my favorite of the 3 pairs. It's definitely an elevated collab. My wife has the Joe Fresh Goods 1000s and I think the ALD one's look better. Even she agreed. They are just different and maybe I'm just a sucker for an ALD x New Balance Collab
This all grey cw is more appealing to me than the white or black pair. Awesome review as always!
what is it about the grey that you like more?
@@SeanGothe white pair is a little basic and from a distance the paneling isn’t as pronounced. Greys just pop more you can’t even see it in pictures and it’s more exclusive and harder to get. How many white shoes do ppl need?

I got the grey one on ALD site and the white one when walking into a new balance store in Singapore. Keeping the grey one on ice (classic nb grey never fails) and rocking the white one soon!

Best looking shoes from NB for me are 990v5/991/991v2/992/993. These other retro chunkers are beat.
