In puertorrican which we have a mix of spaniels, africans and native Taino indians that live in the island when the spaniels got there. So my skin is pretty pale but when my skin get burned, it takes more than a year to disappear. That's with shaving 1x a week and using a special cream for burns (hospital quality). Ugh is dreading. Now my melasma is very annoying. Can you mention is there's a laser or other treatment that make melasma dissapear for good? Hugs from The US!

    Hey, Love your videos! Super helpful and informative. I would like your advice on something. I have suffered with acne and problematic skin since puberty ( I am 22) and I have only now managed to get it under control using Paulas Choice BHA (miracle worker). It's really helped combat my oily skin and active acne and is a staple in my routine. I am also using medik8 vitamin C serum in the morning and using these two products with sunscreen has really helped fade my HIP which was quite bad. I'm really happy with where I am at with my skin, but I still have some stubborn scars I am trying to get rid of. I have quite sensitive skin, so I have been considering the gentler AHA's like mandelic acid or lactic acid, but then I am also looking at retinol. What do you suggest I use considering my current routine? Would really appreciate your help!x

      @sunspear4 Před 2 lety +3

      @@truegrizzlesfan2292 OK, common sense would dictate this question was to be answered by Dr. V. If you watch her video, she stated, lactic acid dissolves the dead cells, so when you wash your face with water, it washes away the dead skin cells with it. I just needed clarification from her, not YOU. Some acids can be used around the eye area, mixed with creams or not, again clarification from her, not YOU. So next time use your common sense.

      Supergel Moisturiser is for oily skin so likely doesn't help with dryness. You probably would be better off adding a more moisturising cream, perhaps in your PM routine.

    Dr. V, i'm planning to use sleeping mask every night instead of regular moisturizer. Is that ok? I want extra hydration after using acids/retinol. The brand says to use it 2-3 times a week, but when i look at the ingredients list it's full of hydrating components (no acids, drying ingredients) so i think i can still use it every night. Is that ok Dr?

    Hey Dr V, awesome and informative video as usual♥️♥️.
    I have a doubt... be minimalist has come out with 2 new sunscreens and one of it has vitamin A as an ingredient which sounds crazy since vitamin A makes skin sensitive to the sun. Would love to hear your thoughts on it
