Honestly, this concerns me and has left me uneasy. Especially this potential depression, no more a recession. I'm unsure about my $130K account strategy, considering the uncertainty of this whole recession mostly.

So basically we're going to keep this economy going for as long as we can until it literally hits the ground and starts combusting in to flames, this will not be a depression this will be a nightmare financially for everyone because right now when the inflation spikes up like a rocket and the dollar detaches itself from normal levels we're going to be just like Zimbabwe or Germany with wheelbarrows of money for bread. I personally feel like we have maybe 4 to 5 years of somewhat economic transactions with money and debt but after 2030 I think that's when everything will falter and hit the skids. I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, we always over complicate things when we speculate. It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Francine Duguay, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Taxing tips is good because when a person gets older they have funds put aside for their Medicare, also they will have made enough to qualify for Medicaid if and when they need it. If their income has not been taxed there is no record of income which means no Medicare no Medicaid when they will need it most.

You’d still hit your minimum credits for SS and Medicare if you work your entire life as a server. I made 15% of mine working as a pizza delivery driver for three years in college. My wife has been a stay at home mom for 24 years and hasn’t worked since her mid 20s and has half the credits needed.

The key to knowing the state of the economy. Question: Can I afford in the Biden administration what I could afford in the last administration? And the answer is: NO, you cannot. Question: Is the 125% price increase of everything I need to buy and pay equal to the 9% salary increase I got; the answer is: NO, it is not. Question Analysis: Is the Biden administration taking money from doctors, school principals, Engineers, factory workers and transferring that money to the Billionaires “by ways of price increase”. The answer is YES.

I have also wondered if the tipping thing is fair and reasonable?
Hear me out before you attack me.
So obviously a lot of tipping jobs don't pay very much. We're not talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars here. Per person I mean.
But if you work in a high-end hotel. If you work in a Michelin star or just a high-end restaurant. That is not the same story.
I have friends who work in both of those industries and they Make a good living. A decent living. Say they're making $60 to $75,000 a year working at a high-end restaurant. Working at a high-end hotel. I knew a couple of people who were doing Shipt at one point making 80 grand a year.
So we have person a with a tipping job where 80% of their income is tips but they make $60,000.
Now we have person B who works in an office and makes $60,000.
Both work equally hard. But person a will only have to pay taxes on 10% of that income. The part that is not tips. Whereas person B will have to pay the taxes on the full amount.
Why wouldn't everyone go get a tipping job then. If you can make the same amount of money and pay no taxes on it. If you do this why would you bother to do the other?
How is it fair to the single mother who works in an office making $60,000 a year because she can't take the risk of that income not being guaranteed. Why should she pay tax when person B doesn't have to pay tax?
I'm not against the idea. In fact, I think it's awesome in a lot of ways. But I think we need to look at it a little bit more before it just gets implemented and find a way for things to be a little fairer.
Now it may be entirely possible that I misunderstand how this would work. So I'm not throwing it out there to be difficult. I'm throwing it out there for understanding and clarification.
