@@SanJoseMaxwell yeah it hurts but I have had 6 weeks of bedrest because I wore thigh high cast and 1 week of rehabilitation till now and it has been great :)

It's a walking cast they put a special shoe over your cast that you can walk on you roll you foot and you can walk I had one when I fractured my leg and got a cast

That's the same color I got on my cast but mine is on my wrist, I got by going on a school field trip to go roller skating so I broke my wrist! Good luck!

I had a long cast on my leg when I was 11 and I broke my leg really badly and it hurt a lot now I am 15
What bone was broken? I as well was in a cast last year. Same foot. I was around 12 with it as my first broken bone. I'm assuming he's around 9 here?
heyyitsjuju The tibia was broken in two places. Luckily, being young, it healed in a few weeks and is fine now. It was not his first broken bone: he broke his nose about a year earlier. Boys will be boys!

How long does it take to put on the hard cast on I just broke my foot/ankle and I'm in a soft cast I'm getting it on next week. Because I broke it yesterday. I've broken bones before and have been put in a immobilizer.
+Lilliana Litner It only takes a few minutes to put on the hard cast. They just wrap the injured limb in a few layers of wet bandages which set into a hard cast almost immediately.

I broke my leg this Saturday and they are going to put an actual cast on my leg. I'm really scared.does it hurt?
+the hockey sport Breaking my leg hurt. Getting the first X-rays hurt. Getting the initial splint hurt a lot. Getting the cast did not hurt much, but later that day it hurt for a while when my leg swelled up and there was pressure inside the cast, but it wasn't too bad with pain medication So the worst is over before you get the cast. Good luck!

How did you find having a cast?
Shannon Magill The first day it really hurt because it was so tight. But after that it was OK. I got lots of attention at school, especially with girls, and everyone signed my cast. I also didn't have to do physical exercises at school. It was pretty cool.
I hated mine to be honest I had to wear it for a good four months on my arm so it kind of sucked because I couldn't do much
