I love how it was mentioned how former moderate drinkers like myself, experienced higher stress levels, less impulse control, shittier mood, higher anxiety, higher depression, even when not drinking. This does not even take into account the higher risks of cancer, liver damage and even death to you and/or others. One year sober since December 28, 2022. Hallelujah!
Hallelujah indeed Joe! Congrats on your 1 year milestone.
You should be very proud of yourself!
Hangxiety was a gift that got me to take a hiatus from drinking. It was a clear signal that the ratio of time that I "felt good" from having some drinks to the hours of Hangxiety was not worth it.
BINGO! Nailed it. Me too
100% Congrats on quitting
100%
Very impactful video. I suffer from this disease we call alcoholism/ addiction. I've had a 34 year love affair with alcohol and drugs. Ivebhad extended lengths of sobriety and I've had even longer lengths of active use. I am back to being sober today. This time around I have 34 days of good sobriety. The longest I've had is 7 years. I am all in on the sobriety train this time around. But like Matthew perry says at the end of the video , it never goes away. But for the grace of God go I.
A lot of bad things could happen when we drink alcohol, indeed the reality of hangover is cringe. i love how eye opening this video is. i will never drink any alcohol again.
Thank you so much Alyanna. Good luck on your alcohol-free journey!
AA is cool and definitely helped me realize I’m not alone in alcoholism. But now days, it seems to be the sheer amount of data and science that is enough to keep me away from this stuff.
It is true when they say that peer pressure can trigger alcohol addiction. Who wants to be left out in your own group? no one. It happened to me and yet here I am, had removed all the BI in my circle and now sober for more than 10 years! even that long can still temp me to drink but i just couldn't take the risk.
Congrats on being sober for 10 years! I noticed my social group has changed since ive been alcohol-free but mainly because I realised once I took out the alcohol I just didnt have anything in common with them anymore. Now my friendships are based on shared interests.
Nice video. Congratuations.
Thank you very much!
Great video.. keep it up and your channel will blow up
Thank you!
I'm on day 21 and so far this has been my easiest run out of the 183 or so attempts I've done. I'm so done with this disgusting substance.
Yes, yes, yes! Congrats to you!
Try putting something together on caffeine being a huge trigger for drinking.. a lot of people don’t know
Interesting point. Thanks for sharing
