  • Easy jalapeno poppers smoked on a Weber kettle.
    These are one of the easiest finger foods you can make for any BBQ and when your guests get their first bite, they will be hooked.
    The softened smoked jalapenos are filled with super creamy cheese, and wrapped in maple syrup slathered bacon to create one awesome flavour explosion in your mouth.
    They don;t take long to prep and they don’t take long to cook. So what are you waiting for, put these easy to make poppers on your next BBQ menu.
    Trust me, they will be a huge hit
    As in all of my recipes, I run through the selection and trim, the seasoning, BBQ set up and resting and serving.

    Ingredients:
    12 jalapenos
    250 grams of cream cheese
    1 tablespoon of BBQ rub / seasoning (for filling)
    1 teaspoon of BBQ rub / seasoning (for dusting)
    24 slices of bacon
    ⅓ cup of maple syrup

    57cm (22”) Weber Kettle
    Chimney Starter
    Kettle Kone
    Feeds: 12 (as appetisers)
    Preparation Time: 15 minutes
    Cook Time: 30 minutes
    Cuisine: American

    I’ve got some jalapeños sorted to do this afternoon with some wings. I’ve started de-seeding my jalapeños in a bowl of water so I don’t get seeds all over the kitchen and don’t burn /irritate my eyes. 🔥 💨 🌶

    Schuey they look great mate. There is just wifey and me so was wondering if I did a pile would they either keep ok frozen for a while or better to just vac seal them?? Would be great to have for light lunches at work

    The jalapeños aren’t that easy to get up my way. Might have to plant a few in the patch then it will be problem solved. They definitely tick all the boxes of deliciousness🍻

    These videos are no good for my waistline. Assume you can stick two charcoals baskets together in the middle if you don’t have a kettle cone?

      Ha Ha yeah the food doesn't help the waistline Richard Hodgson, 2 baskets together is fine, just watch the radiant heat as it can burn the food closest to it on longer cooks 🍻
