It's great to see you back, Peter! We love the idea of Pose Academy! As of late we've been trying to get better with posing, so we'll be showing up for sure! That iPhone 7+ quality was nuts! We thought you were using a DSLR all this time! Sometimes we need a moment to recharge before jumping back into the motions of content creating. Also, thank you for being inclusive of my wife as well! A lot of people forget we're a duo on the channel, so this was awesome to hear. ❤

Take your time and do it right. I've only been collecting since late 2021, your channel and a few others have helped me on what to focus on in my collection and your channel in particular has given me a great way to showcase the figures I have for dramatic displays. This video demonstrates me why you are the posing goat. Not only was the Showcase of your current setup so mesmerizing I had to back up the vid to concentrate on what exactly you were saying 😁, you then go on to shout out other amazing posers in the community (all of whom are getting a follow).
Recently outside factors had dampened my collecting passion, but I feel my love rekindling with that Queens Studio Joker announcement , all the great streams from Justin, Jedha & others, and seeing the return of one of my favorite content creators. Welcome back & thanks for showing me a few more poses to steal 😉👍
Aw Lloyd, thanks so much for sharing your kind words and lovely feedback 🥰 Likewise man, there were several other factors (aside from work & life in general) that dampened my passion for the hobby throughout the past few months, but seeing my fellow content creators come together to lift up each other and the community definitely helped rekindle that passion and I’m super grateful to be in a position where I can somehow bring some joy / entertainment to fellow collectors as well.
Side note, did you manage to preorder the Queen Studios Joker, and if so which one? I caved and got the rooted deluxe pack, super excited to not wait 2-3 years for Hot Toys to release their 3.0 😅
@@PosingwithPeter Yeah I had to give in and get the Double Rooted Hair Set, but also got an extra Sculpted Single as a surprise for my best friend (who is THEE biggest Joker fan I know). The most I've ever dropped at one time for this hobby 😢 but no regrets!

I held off on the Hulkbuster due to lack of space and pricing, but since Joker 2-pack can fit in a detolf and has rooted hair on both, it was too good to pass up. I'm a fan of DC, MARVEL, STAR WARS, you name it Peter. I'm pretty much a nerd ( nerd is the new cool. ) So my collections vary. Mate anything you pose blows my mind. Would love to see more Batman / Superman poses. However, I also like what you do with the Terminator Franchise. Hope that helps.

I’m in California so I hope our time-zone difference doesn’t have too much of an impact on the livestream schedule! I could definitely try to feature T-1000 in a future livestream tutorial since he’s very posable with various accessories for fun ideas!

Peter please do not underestimate yourself, you are as important and amazing as the other collectors you listed. To fix problems with figures in storage it could be possible for you to show older footage or just images of the figures boxes.

And yeah I know the feeling of collecting preorders all too well haha. The many figure delays have definitely taught us a thing or two about patience as it can sometimes get the best of us.

Somehow Since that last comment Endgame Captain America and Infinity War Thor some how ended up in my collection (Don't ask how my wallet is doing). I am not really sure how to pull of an aggressive neutral pose with just Mjolnir and his Shield. I want to make it seem strong but not too flamboyant with the arms and leg poses.

@@PosingwithPeter Thank you so much. Glad to hear from you as well. Also side note Clone Wars Maul has somehow entered my collection. I bought 2 hot toys back to back :/ . I prefer the Solo Maul since I like his lightsaber and outfit better but I settled for Clone Wars to pair with Ahsoka. There is a recent leaked image of Ahsoka fighting Solo Maul, however I am not sure about the validity of these leaks.

As it happens I already did my first Pose Academy Livestream in late September but it featured the rusted armor version of Boba Fett. Surely I’ll do some kind of content for Robocop at some point, whether it’s a short video or full livestream tutorial maybe closer to when that reissued Robocop 3 figure comes out.
By the way I’m quite envious that you have the 2-pack of Murphy & Battle Damage Robocop - it would be much more fun for me to dedicate a posing video to Robocop if I had that 2 pack so I could showcase his journey of going from Murphy to becoming Robocop. I pray we’ll get a reissue/upgrade of ED-209 too… I’ve been looking on eBay but unfortunately it’s priced too high for me to pull the trigger especially if the dome is cracked 😂

Thanks for watching & sharing your positive feedback! 🥰 As for Boba’s fabric, I sometimes attach black twist tie wire onto a figure’s boots, belts, or anything that can grab hold… then I lay or wrap the extra fabric onto those black twist tie wires to give off the impression that they’re blowing in the wind. @@darthkirbaybey8733 Oohh nice I’m in California so our time-zone difference isn’t too bad. Fortunately as a fellow Star Wars I’ll be featuring Boba Fett as the first livestream tutorial so that’ll be fun.
I was also thinking of featuring 89 Joker (in a future livestream) since he’s extremely posable, has tons of accessories for fun ideas, and a third party version of him is releasing soon so I’m hoping enough collectors might be interested in learning how to pose him. We’ll see!

Thanks! And nah, Sideshow Maul is still original. Ironically his joints are all loose and fragile now since he was among the first few figures I ever bought back in 2016 so he can barely hold a dynamic pose now 😂 I’ve been wanting to do a body-swap on him but haven’t committed to enough research yet.
@@PosingwithPeter yea same here, I had the hot toys one and sold it because this one is superior in the likeness to the character, love it. There's no info out there on if a body swap is possible but I actually ordered a body today and will be trying it out. I'll let you know how it goes.
@@oliverpilgrim5391 I agree - I already had Sideshow Maul when Hot Toys announced/released theirs but I decided to keep my Sideshow version since it looks just like Ray Park.
Best of luck on the body swap! Please do keep me posted - if it works out well enough then maybe I’ll follow suit. I never made a video of Quigon vs Maul since his body is too fragile to handle these days, but a new body might be able to remedy that 😁

You know, when I mentioned in this video that I’m “not the greatest at following through on ideas”, I was thinking of how I let ya down in never getting around to making that video for my ThreeZero Transformers. I had a music video in mind but could never carve out the time to pose them all together (sadly they’re in storage right now, I suppose I can somewhat relate to your figure-storage situation 😭)

Hi Peter just want to say I am a big fan of your stuff. Can I ask if you had to only have five figure's which ones would you choose.The only problem with this awesome hobby is having the room to show them . I have 37 figures now but I feel I need to down size , only problem is I love all of them , and of course all the new releases .

How about you? What are your top 5? And believe me I fully understand what you mean about not having enough space to display them. I’ve had a large portion of my figures in storage since I didn’t have the space to display them all. If you’re in the same predicament, then I’d recommend displaying the ones that you enjoy the most at this time then simply swap them out maybe once a month or so.
Funny enough I actually just moved to a bigger apartment a few weeks ago, mainly because I needed the extra space. I’m currently working on building the new collection room and can’t wait to share it with everyone on video once it’s complete 😁

As for Rocket hanging on Iron Patriot, I used long black twist ties to wrap him around the stem of the huge cannon (it’s kinda like a harness that’s wrapped around his ass that is then looped around the silver stem that props up the canon). Hope that helps!

Cool poses! Any tips on how to prevent your figures from toppling? Especially if earthquakes are frequent in your area. Thanks!
Thanks! And I’ve heard some people apply earthquake putty to the feet of their figures. I personally don’t use this method since I don’t want the boots / tread to have any putty so I just risk it 😅 Alternatively you can also use the included stand for better stability.

@@darkknight4260 Haha no worries about the delayed reply. And yeah it’s a tough dilemma to be in, there’s not much else you can do. Either use the display stands and not worry about then falling over, or ditch the display stands and hope they don’t topple 😂 No risk, no reward aka no sacrifice, no victory 😉

6:13 has been my dream to get Robocop & Predator. Where did you get those 2 Terminator plasma rifles?

I got the plasma rifles from someone on Facebook but I personally wouldn’t recommend them - the materials used to 3D print them are very fragile, and placing the rifles into the endoskeleton’s fingers caused the rifle handles to chip away resulting in both paint damage to the rifle and also minor structural damage to the handles. I don’t have any paint skills so I had to use a black sharpie to re-color the chipped away parts.
