Yeah, maybe he is coping, but this is the mentality that I can appreciate. Otherwise, why even compete if you enter the game thinking that you will lose.
This kind of mindset that BB is showing is the correct mindset as a competitor, to recognize your weakness and try to improve on. People saying he is delusional are just haters, people that havent compete a single day in their lifes or people that haven't even ask a girl out for fear of rejection.
PS: For those of you with the last situation, just do it, everytime you get rejected, you get use to it, and learn a better approach to the game. Cheers

Man BB is so on point. That's exactly what is going on. Glad there's a player smart enough to see that. Hopefully his team is on the same page and if they clear their macro a bit and play more confident but also more respectful (not cocky) they can definitely beat the best of them.

And if I am completely honest, I think he is far away from a toplaner that would fit such a prestigeous Organisation. (Yet thats kinda bs, since there are not that much better western players at the toplane role)

I just love these international tournaments... even though I am T1 supporter, I find it difficult to not want to support all of these great teams and hardworking players. Have been a big fan of Brokenblade ever since he was on TSM with my favorite player Bjergsen, so I am so excited to see him still playing at a high level and having performances like that Cass game. Riot definitely needs to introduce more opportunities for these international teams to all compete against each other.

I could put this on record and hear it over and over again. I got belittled by yamatoconan when i pointed out to him that we have this bad habbit in the western teams and we have to work on it. Considering yamatoconan position i thought he can be a positive force. And he shut me down.
But yes, i said that g2 are the closest western team to breaking this problem and i am glad they are aware of it now.

Bb sounds way too confident like the 3-0 against MAD is getting into his head. On one hand I'm happy that they or at least he isn't affected by what has happened so far. On the other hand, it's a bit worrisome especially when you consider their recent performance.
Their recent performence wasn't that bad. And if the players lose confidence it often shows on the rift. The only time when confidence is negative for pro players imo is when it becomes arrogance and they play disrespectful but I don't think they'd ever play that way against eastern teams.
