By far my favourite episode, the look on Martin's face when Val drives off gets me every time.

A worthy successor to Fawlty Towers. The dynamic between Jacqui and Martin during the more scatty parts of the show does remind me of Basil & Cybil so often. I guess Jim is a kind of warped magnified Manuel and the Grandma character definitley has overtones of the Major ! As for Pusface and Pissface well they are the Polly character split into two so as to generate even more craziness in the interactions between the main characters.
What annoys me is Martin could have just put it in his car
