Maybe for your next build make an underground area? I know they're more piece intensive, but it's really worth it in the end

You don't actually have to make that kinda complicated design to make stairs, you just need a bracket in the right color and then place a plate and a tile on a bracket facing sideways from the taller bit. If that made any sense then there you go
