An encouragement to everyone who is dealing with addiction. There’s a way out. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Jesus heals. Jesus saves. Jesus loves you. You’re not alone and no your life is not a dead end. There’s an option of life and the answer is Christ.

As an Ex-Catholic, I approve of the " the catholic Jesus doesn't change people" statement. When I felt the Holy Spirit right after being catholic 95% of my life and then becoming agnostic and making money my idol. One day at my lowest, I truly repented once I realized Jesus is truly God, then once I felt unexplainable peace, and literal weight off my shoulders. I immediately knew that nothing I've learned as a catholic (25 years) will ever bring me or anyone in the Catholic church close to feeling the true presence of Jesus'. No amount of hail mary's, bible knowledge, confessionals will get you that relationship like getting on your knees in private at your lowest, saying and believing that Jesus truly is indeed lord, and fully repenting for everything. You can't turn back once you feel God's presence, The Holy Spirit will change you.

I was devout catholic for years, my house was full of rosaries ,statues ,crosses etc . Without knowing I made Catholicism an idol . God showed me in a second I needed to dismantle my house and repent ,did not need a priest interceding for me. I get what you said you felt something was lifted from your shoulder .

I humbly disagree. I came to the Catholic Church in my mid forties. I have my own testimony of the incredible acceleration of sanctification once in the Catholic Church. Though I now know the beauty of having both the born again baptism AND the Beauty of the Catholic Church.
God meets us all where we are...As long as Jesus is King when we worship, the denomination doesn't matter.

I always watch these types of youtube videos because the testimonies are so great, but no matter what, these folks always have to dismiss their Catholic backgrounds and/ or bring up Catholicism in a negative way. Meanwhile, Catholics never do this. Most of these people never understood the faith sadly, so I do think that the RCC can do a better job to check in and make sure everyone has a strong faith formation. However, once these people join Protestant religions, it's almost like part of their new way is to bash RC. I'll never understand it, but I'm glad our church takes the high ground and continues to pray.

Wowwwwww. This gave me chills. His calling is the same as mine ! When I got delivered from fentanyl and alcohol addiction after coming from a church that did not believe in deliverance, my whole life changed after I got delivered. I quit my job and am gearing up to go to detox facilities to tell them how to be free and deliverance. This is exactly my identity in my calling and hearing you say what you're doing is just amazing.

I’m so proud of you. I need deliverance bad. God did save my life and free me from my heroin/fentanyl & meth addiction. I found him sitting in my jail cell. He was always there just waiting on me. it was me who left him to begin with. I still have strongholds but finding a church that believes in deliverance in small town Texas is not the easiest. I love Jesus though. The Holy Spirit, his grace and love is what gets me by.

Thank you brother. It’s crazy how the lord works. I dealt with addiction for 8 years straight. Alcohol, marijuana, and pornography. Now at 26 I gave my life to the lord and my desire to do any of that stuff has gone 100% percent. God is so good man. And he has so much grace and mercy. I shouldn’t be here right now. God chooses us even when we didn’t chose him. God bless you man

I relate to this testimony but I’m still struggling with alcohol, it only when I drink myself to sleep where I can sleep through the morning, I have sleepless nights, demonic attacks at night, I’m really struggling but I hope and pray that Jesus will set me free soon, I wanna be free and I’m praying for my freedom
All freedom is in Christ! But I've learned the hard way that I must come to him in repentance. Understanding that HE alone is the way, truth. and life! In this place we make him LORD over everything! Praying for your freedom and healing! ❤
Dude...thank you for your testimony. Im dealing with addiction issues right now. Im physicaly addicted to benzos and suboxone. Everytime i try to quit cold turkey i go into a psychosis and it gets dangerous. I get paranoid and even homicidal thoughts. Ive been praying to Jesus for deliverance, but maybe im not praying enough. If anyone out there sees this and is willing to pray for me, i would really appreciate it. When i was pregnant with my youngest I woke up and couldn't move, i saw this black image in the corner getting closer and closer, it climbed on my belly, its face was near mine and it opened its mouth, its fangs were HUGE! I was trying to yell for my husband to help me but no sound came, it started to dig its claws into my belly and i felt contractions starting (i was 7 mos preg) the contractions were strong and so painful, i tried to cry out for Jesus but i had no voice! The eyes of this thing were green and nasty but its body was blsck as the darkest black ive ever seen. I closed my eyes and cried out JESUS I CALL ON A HEAVENLY ARMY TO HELP ME! I could feel an army getting closer, and in my spirit i could see a half circle of angels behind me in the air, they were on horses and they traveled on the wind, they were strong and ready for battle, the demon was ao scared that he BECAME fear. It was like he was trembling! He unhooked his claws from my womb and he fled. The angels left in a wind and peace overcame me. I woke up and my stomach was a little tender but i knew in that moment theres something special about my baby! My daughter's appendix ruptured at 3 yrs old, fully ruptured! But her body formed a cycst and kept the poison contained in the cyst! Had to be in the hospital for a month.
At 6 she had her tonsils out & became fully septic, infection in her whole body, went into shock, she was hospitalized for 2 weeks. And at 10 my daughter was shot in her shoulder, the bullet severed her ulner nerve and fully severed the subclavian artery! She was bleeding SO much, i laid her down and called 911, the police had a med kit for a sucking chest wound they applied, she went to the trauma center and then the OR for an 8 hour surgery. The dr came out and said i dont know how your daughter is alive! The artery that was severed is considered the widow maker, less than 5% live more than 90 seconds, and the ones who do are left with a paralyzed arm. She had a year of PT. She is 13 and has full use of her arm now! It took 2 full yrs to gain back. She battled depression, & ptsd. She started cutting herself, but 4 weeks ago, my baby got saved! In her bedroom she cried out for jesus, and my sweet girl is on FIRE for jesus! Oh i forgot to mention, her dad died in 2015 too! She had been through SO much in her lil 13 yrs. She has a calling on her life, and God has a hold of her heart! ♡ she falls asleep reading her bible, invited her friend over for a bible study on a Saturday night!! She's ready!♡♡

I can relate to him when it comes to clubs. I have been going out for half my life at 41 and never want it to stop drinking, getting laid with different women until I was introduced to this church that has many people that are on fire for God. After coming here for one year I have been baptized and currently taking bible classes but I still go back to the clubs and drink whenever I am lonely at home by myself because I feel so isolated no one to talk to I ask jesus to bring me a woman of God who he has for me because I need that comfort and support that I never had.
Literally word for word exact same here. Everything you said hit home and I believe if I’d like to experience Gods best , I need to surrender the habits to Him because we won’t find a woman in the clubs. The very thing we do to cope with loneliness is keeping us lonely. It’s so hard to let it go but we know the way. Trust in Jesus the Way Maker keep praying and know He loves you God bless

I’m asking for prayer for my father 😢 as a child I used to pray that God would change him and I find myself still praying that he would remove his dependence on alcohol. I’m fed up. I’m 26 years old now it’s been over 20 years and he’s telling me he’ll drink til he dies. Please keep my father in your prayers his name is Luis. I used to have issues with “sleep paralysis”. Ever since I called on His mighty name as I do every day and night now, it’s gone. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!!! It truly is a mighty name!!!!

I’m a 44 year old male that believes in faith, I had 2 strokes and 2 brain surgeries at 38, I’ve been suffering my whole life and i don’t hear god or anything, I pray every night without fail and praise him at every turn and still can’t hear him, he took my mom in may to cancer, I’m suffering in a house with a man my mom trusted and I starve most of the time! I don’t drink but I vape and smoke cannabis for medical purposes! I don’t understand why I would get saved from dying of a stroke just to live in more pain and agony?
You have to break every legal right to the enemy. By that I say this in the spiritual aspect. You don’t need cannabis or vape. I promise you don’t because Jesus is the cure. The Lord wants all of you. The devil is trying to destroy you and the Lord hasn’t allowed it. Feel free to reach out brother

The sleep paralysis started for me as a young child. Every night about 2-3am, my bathroom door would open by itself and I got used to it as well, just like you, I’d say oh its just you again. Then, if i didnt get scared it would turn on the tv full blast! I’d get in trouble for that. My life was crazy and then Jesus saved me!
Wow, I too would experinece sleep parlysis at young age. Just like you mentioned, you just get used to it at some point. Some nights I could even tell when it was about to happen, I'd get palpitations and my eyes would get so incredibly heavy , I couldn't always fight it off. The way God works is amazing, when we feel we are at our loneliest moments, you look back and realize he was always there, we just needed to cry out to him. God Bless you, sister

Brother Alex, thanks for sharing your testimony. I'm a born again Christian but I struggle with some of the same things you once did. Primarily alcohol. I've been feeling God nudging me to put down alcohol for good. Although I don't really drink during the week, on the weekends I tend to get after it and a lot of the times I overdo it. That sometimes leads me into wanting to do things I know I shouldn't be doing like cocaine. God tends to block the opportunity which I'm eventually grateful for but in the moment I pursue it relentlessly. I want to surrender it all and live the life God intended for me to live. Your testimony pierced my heart. Again, thanks for being so transparent man. God is using your testimony to set people free. Amen.
No man is free who cannot command himself. You have Christ to help you along the way. It is sin is that you could be lukewarm and hurt yourself and betray yourself for a few moments of pleasure that are just wasted, skewed memories.

I feel for young people. When I was 10 or 11, was going to church every Sunday. My older brother had a Def Leppard album, Pyromania, I played it in my bedroom and after that I could feel the evil that I had allowed to enter this realm by giving in to 'his' music. Music is a very powerful, subtle way he invades our lives.
No one can run or hide from Yeshua
When I hear these testimonies I feel joy and sadness. What happened to his first born if she isn’t from his current wife. I am learning through my own experience how the enemy destroys families and confusion so that children are hurt in broken homes. My husband and I have been together 15 years. Been through hell and back and have two children both born before marriage to each other. I am thankful that I have stood this long and even in this season of pain addiction and separation God has shown me to fight for my marriage for the sake of my covenant and the legacy of my children and their children. I know God is and will use me to spread the truth of marriage and the importance of fighting for your first and only true covenant

3 years sober and clean.
I found the rooms of CA and AA glory to god.
But through this journey I found god 18 months he told me to go to church so I did i got baptised.
But also my mum told Johnny I can’t help you anymore but he can this is we’re my life went to a different dimension we call it the fourth dimension.
My life is amazing now because I’ve allowed Jesus into my life he was always there but my addiction was always telling no no no it’s the enemy.
Today I’m free from addiction I now help others find recovery and find god

I am so happy for this man, who is a life testimony of the Glory of Jesus who braked his chains. I do pray every day for this nation to be free. I am from Mexico, and God brought me here to see how much people need Jesus. My heart is broken every day, seeing people in the streets, kids with addictions, and all prisoners. I’m clean now & let me tell you GOD IS REAL & HE IS GOOD‼️ He shows me signs every day & he gave me what I didn’t know at the time was his peace because I talked to him & seen an image like spiritually I was at heavens gate with our lord Jesus standing at the front of heaven with this golden light around him & I seen a little brown hair through the light with some red at the top from his chest to over his shoulders but I couldn’t see the rest of him or his face just all this light‼️ That feeling he gave me, his peace, happiness, let me tell you I can’t even begin to explain that pure peace & happiness‼️ HE IS REAL‼️ This is just my experience as everyone’s experience could be different. Idk, but he is real‼️👆🙏✝️

Thank you for sharing, I'm currently still struggling with my addiction and severe mental health.....my entire family has been taken from me without a thought (not because of drugs) I know with Jesus everything is better, I've fallen 6x times and picked up 7, come from a very strong Christian home, and my s.o other complete opposite who recently has asked me to show him the Bible, father god please show me and give me the right words for him

I’ve suffered from severe addiction (every drug imaginable…worst was IV) for almost a decade and a half now and it left my life in pieces…the past several years following treatment were the hardest of my entire life. I’ve also had sleep paralysis attacks the majority of my adult life. It’s truly been my version of hell.
Then I was doing well for so long and then slipped back into my old ways again. I believe in Jesus and know he is the my only way out of this. I know he has the power to change hearts and lives. Pray for me.

I’ve been in addiction for 10 plus years and got into a program where drugs are given to take away the cravings for opiates but I find myself abusing other drugs secretly. I’m tired and I beg the lord to please help me stop. I use them and instantly feel regret and shame for not having the will to stop. I feel him calling me to him but the obstacles won’t stop.
My past is similar to yours, i was addicted to many substances! Im currently trying to quit smoking weed! God is here for us, every day, every moment! 😊

Man Jesus is amazing, the fact that for some reason I felt the urge to watch a testimony and the fact that I clicked on this one and have had a similar testimony and struggling with Lust right now, just shows me my Lord watching me.
