diamonds galore Try putting some type of oil on your hair after you put the gel on, that might help. And if your hair is thicker than hers don’t try putting the gel on dry hair, probably use a leave in conditioner first❤️
If you have this hair like mine you might want to find a hard brush and use eco gel. Sometimes there will be a few little flakes but they come out easily. When you put in the gel brush thoroughly with the hard brush. That will leave it down

I actually know a 4c hair that did a sleek ponytail with out heat and it looked good to me for a 4c slick back . I think it’s what gel you use . Eco slicks some people hair and it just curls mine , pro style helps slick down my hair with some edge control . But I got 3b hair 😭

This can work on 4c hair if you detangle 4c hair the right way. Same with all textures and layer the gel like she did it can work great ,you just may need two ponytails in one ,as far as the edges go okay you probably will need a scarf or a blow dryer to help it dry, blow-drying is the one step nobody wants to do or wait for. So it can work a little blow dry won't hurt.

Omg I am glad I found this Technic . I use it every day high ponytail to let my hair grow. I use plastic wrap instead the fabric wrap because is cheaper.
I have 4c hair and I can do this. I just use water, leave in conditioner and gel and I layer it in my hair and slick it into a bun. I have more waves tho cause my curled are tighter.
I used to do my 4c hair in a ponytail all the time. Sections, a wide tooth comb, hard brush, ponytail holders, a scarf, blow dryer or hooded dryer, gorilla snot and castor oil. Saturate the sections with gorilla snot and oil. Detangle with the comb, gather and Smith with the brush and secure the section with a ponytail holder. Repeat and combine sections into larger sections as you go. Tie a scarf over it tightly to help set the hair and let it dry. You can air dry or sit under the hood or use blow dryer for asistantce. Add kanekalon hair or Marley to match

The amount of mean comments on this beautiful style is wild. No where in the title did she say this was for 4c hair, every style ain’t for everyone . My hair texture is similar to this and the comments are basically texture shaming her and acting as if the style is unimpressive when this takes a lot of skill.
