I’m working in intel for more than 2.5 years , mainly on desktop and laptop chipsets , and I agree recently that AMD is performing good , but intel will beat these by 2021 With power pack performance 💆♂️

Additional Info : For gaming (without considering budget), Intel's 10thgen is very very power hungry and outputs nearly double the rated TDP at boost clocks to produce the performance required for todays competition. This is because intel is still stuck with 14nm. I would recommend sticking to AMD for gaming (Zen 3 on its way) and stay away from intel untill they come up with new a architecture design.

Bro one correction, the socket is changing for AMD in 2021. Last time they committed in 2016 that they won’t change the socket for 5 years and that’s expiring in 2020.
Intel changes its sockets very frequently making motherboards and thus the entire PC incompatible with newer processors much faster than AMD.
