Hawkeye fan here. Glad we won, but what an amazing game. It showcased the best of women's basketball. Nebraska played a fantastic game, and had Iowa on the ropes in an arena that was 90-95% against them. They should hold their heads high. I have a feeling the Huskers are going to bust some brackets. Also, I hope those players know that it is okay to cry, it means you care! And they showed that by the way they played today. GG Nebraska, and best of luck in the NCAAs!
Nebraska showed up and showed out, nearly took this game from Iowa. I was telling someone earlier that this team is actually a very good team. Iowa had a bit of the experience factor.
I only started watching women’s basketball because of Caitlin Clark in last year’s NCAA tournament. Quickly not only became a forever Clark fan,but Iowa fan, and Big Ten fan! What a great game. Nebraska played a fabulous game and they be so proud to let millions of viewers see that this Nebraska team is not to be discounted or messed with! Good luck to both teams in the tournament!

Just wanted to say I think it's really special that Nebraska got to play with us (Iowa fan)in the Big 10 Tournament. We are rivals with a long history and close in proximity, both corn states :). No one except Nebraska's amazing team and fans could have predicted this outcome. Hopefully you guys don't mind the support from the Hawkeye fans after a tough loss, but we are just really impressed with this team and think y'all are very underrated. I wish Nebraska a good run in the NCAA tournament and look forward to seeing the young talent on this team blossom going forward.

I know even though Nebraska ran very bad plays late in the game. Going for quick 3 while up and missing. Milk the clock! Last shot that did not touch the rim in the 4th instead of creating play for Jaz or Alex after time out. You can feel they're panicking in that last stretch. The team with more experience won the game.

I'm A Hawkeye and it was a great revenge game after Huskers won at home and had the band playing while Hawks shot free throws and did their post press conference out of order. Coach Williams nor the players gave the Hawks credit for this win and it is chippy. Nebraska did play a great game and Jazz is something special. Go Hawks!

Nebraska believed they won the game before it was over and because of that they let their guard down and as soon as they did that’s when Iowa came in and pounced on them. Iowa understood it’s never over till it’s over, Nebraska did not. The maturity of Iowa shined through. Nebraska is not there yet but hopefully this loss has taught them an invaluable lesson.

Losing stings and winning lifts you 10 feet. That’s why sports are so awesome, you get to see (unfortunately in this case) both sides of the outcome. It’s awesome to see the passion and commitment that the players exhibit and their raw emotions. I’m an Iowa alum and will never ever root for Nebraska but I appreciate their effort and performance. No one should disparage or insult the payers for being emotional, they invest everything they have in to the team. Have to show them respect.
The Nebraska Ladies have Nothing to be Ashamed Of. They Played as hard as I've ever seen a team play, and but for a few Missteps toward the end, and Iowa's Hard Headed(Never Give Up, Ever) Playing, they'd have won that game. We had the ball and an 8 point lead with 2 and a half minutes to go in the 4th. Instead of running clock, we chuck up a quick three, miss it and they get the rebound and score quickly. That can't happen there. Also, our last possession of the 4th, tied at 77, after a timeout was awful. Needed a play for Jaz or Alexis to take the last shot. It ended up being the freshman, bless her heart, who's shot was very low percentage and didn't really come close to the rim. GBR
Whoever called the play for the last 9 seconds with the score tied should be fired. Just throw the ball into Jaz then into the center for two points or a foul. Make one and the Huskers get a well deserved win. Can't take Clark into OT. She will beat you every time. This loss is on you , Coach Williams.
Both teams played out of their mind. It was a game I will remember for awhile. Iowa deserved to win but so did Nebraska, great teams in a great game. Iowa came out on top in this game, who knows what happens if they meet again.

Hawks fan here. Really didn't think we'd pull this out. Nebraska was the better team for the entire game until the end, opposite of the game in Lincoln last month. Jaz Shelley was the best shooter in this tournament.. she was insane! Clark had a bad tournament but she hit the shots when they were most important... it took the entire team playing their asses off until the last buzzer to win. I think Nebraska can make noise in the national tournament this year, you have some passionate players that deserve a part of the championship trophy Iowa got today. This hurts to say, but I respect the Huskers WBB team. Sounds like these ladies left their heart and souls out on the floor. Congratulations on the run!

Nebraska believed they won the game before it was over and because of that they let their guard down and as soon as they did that’s when Iowa came in and pounced on them. Iowa understood it’s never over till it’s over, Nebraska did not. The maturity of Iowa shined through. Nebraska is not there yet but hopefully this loss has taught them an invaluable lesson.

You know, sometimes I think it would be better if they did these post game press conferences the day after the game. Emotionally, it's got be really hard to go out and face reporters immediately following a tough loss.

I'm a Iowa girl's basketfall fan but a Nebraska mens's football fan. Nebraska is probaly the CLASSIEST college program in the country. I'm proud to be a fan of both college's!!!

Losing stings and winning lifts you 10 feet. That’s why sports are so awesome, you get to see (unfortunately in this case) both sides of the outcome. It’s awesome to see the passion and commitment that the players exhibit and their raw emotions. I’m an Iowa alum and will never ever root for Nebraska but I appreciate their effort and performance. No one should disparage or insult the payers for being emotional, they invest everything they have in to the team. Have to show them respect.

The Nebraska Ladies have Nothing to be Ashamed Of. They Played as hard as I've ever seen a team play, and but for a few Missteps toward the end, and Iowa's Hard Headed(Never Give Up, Ever) Playing, they'd have won that game. I'm a big Iowa Fan, but Credit where Credit is due, and With Much Respect, Nebraska Played One Hell Of A Game, and their Fans should treat them like The Heroes(Heroines) and Warriors that they truly are. Well Done Nebraska Ladies.

We had the ball and an 8 point lead with 2 and a half minutes to go in the 4th. Instead of running clock, we chuck up a quick three, miss it and they get the rebound and score quickly. That can't happen there. Also, our last possession of the 4th, tied at 77, after a timeout was awful. Needed a play for Jaz or Alexis to take the last shot. It ended up being the freshman, bless her heart, who's shot was very low percentage and didn't really come close to the rim. GBR

Whoever called the play for the last 9 seconds with the score tied should be fired. Just throw the ball into Jaz then into the center for two points or a foul. Both teams played out of their mind. It was a game I will remember for awhile. Iowa deserved to win but so did Nebraska, great teams in a great game. Iowa came out on top in this game, who knows what happens if they meet again.

that which doesn't kill you makes you stronger...these girls will be winners no matter what road in life they take. they should all walk proudly for having such a great year. however, in the final analysis, the best team won.
The game could have gone either way. Nebraska was one or two possessions away to being crowned the champions. The lady huskers fought a seasoned Iowa team and what they accomplished is a feat in itself. Go husker nation.
There is no shame in that loss- it was a tough, hard fought game against 2 awesome and talented teams.

I’m a Hawkeye fan so obviously glad my team overcame and won HOWEVER, I couldn’t help but think of the disappointment of the Nebraska players, with empathy. (Been there.) Hawks fan here. Really didn't think we'd pull this out. Nebraska was the better team for the entire game until the end, opposite of the game in Lincoln last month. Jaz Shelley was the best shooter in this tournament.. she was insane! Clark had a bad tournament but she hit the shots when they were most important... it took the entire team playing their asses off until the last buzzer to win. I think Nebraska can make noise in the national tournament this year, you have some passionate players that deserve a part of the championship trophy Iowa got today. This hurts to say, but I respect the Huskers WBB team. Sounds like these ladies left their heart and souls out on the floor. Congratulations on the run!
