    This kid is already so awesome!!! Just needs a TINY bit of intonation improvement! I know classical era cello pieces are like the hardest intonation-wise! He is also an awesome performer! Bravo

    bro this guy was just saying nonsense trying to fill time almost the whole time props to the kid in the video he played very well this guy talked about changing a shift for like 5 minutes when its a simple thing he keeps pausing so much just trying to fill time lol

      yes but actually practicing changing to different shifts and going to positions your technical level is more used to is a perfect way to prepare pieces to be played with less stress and time. The same go for lyrical passages, sometimes "harder shifts" are actually easier because you can keep the flow going
      but yes, from the beggining you can sense he dont know what to say x'd
