- The little town Pallel between Kakching and Tengnoupal districts was a different example in a torn up Manipur where people from different communities co-existed even after the first incident of violence on May 3. For the past 4 months, people of Pallel defied every scope of divide but last Friday violence erupted here, for the first time in 130 days and changed the dynamics.

Sad to see my favourite Puri hotel vandalised run by a very nice and kind kuki couple. Where all kinds of communities line up early in the morning for breakfast. Their puri is one of my favourite in pallel area. I hope normalcy comes back soon 🙏

However, sadly i think i haven't seen you visiting TORBUNG where the first incident of arson took place from which the violence escalated ever since. Or in Churachandpur and Moreh where almost all the houses and properties of minority community living there were looted vandalised and burned down to ashes. It is reported that most of the houses in Churachandpur belonging to the minority there are looted, bulldozed and flattened to the ground. Would love to see you visiting those places and giving a ground report on the current condition of those places also.

It's very easy to pin point at any community basing on what we are going through and experience. It's very pain to see what going on in Manipur since may.2023. This should end immediately. Just for some political and business gain so many innocent lives has been lost and still violance and killings are continuing. It's very questionable that centre is still not doing anything to bring peace and normalcy among this two community where as main medias and centre celebrating G20 at Delhi. What a joke? This clearly show how colour changes by BJP govt.like a chameleon. The way modi treated and his arrogance towards northeast is seriously questionable. Is this BJP way of act east policy? It's time that northeast community irrespective of party lines must come together and raise voice agains modi govt.and go to valley and make peace .
