Its an easy place to get knocked off. BTW Henry Paul had a couple solo albums that wee pretty good. I found a cassette of one at. Flea Mkt in Richmond. Where else the Capital of the Confederacy. I miss the Rebel Flags at the southern concerts. It was OUR FLAG. Our history.

I'm proud to have lived the Southern life I have lived. I was working in the paint shop at the Belview Biltmore the first time I heard this on the radio. Damn, I'm old. I remember crashing at Frank's house in Largo. His mom was like the Shepard of us teens just trying to grow up. She was Ma to all of us. O'Keefe"s restaurant was never the same after Bill passed. Frank's brother Mike was a pretty good drummer too. He once said he saw what fame did to people and wanted no part. He had the best vinal collection I've ever seen though.

I'm so glad that not everyone is beating up on Henry; he was one of the originals, and I believe that he would rather be on the stage with Hughie, Billie, Frank, and Monte, like it was in the beginning. A lot of people say that Henry is one with the least class, but I believe that he has a lot of class act in him. If he didn't, he wouldn't be where he is now.

That was a real extended play treat. Thank you Brothers. I formed a band with my friend Al poliak playing gigs in Virginia Washington DC and Maryland. Al turned me on to the outlaws, skynyrd, the whole southern rock genre. I was hooked. We were called the Southern Sage Band.
We tried to do Green Grass and High Tides and a number of other Henry Paul songs justice, but definitely fel short of this band. We did have a wonderful piano and keyboard player in Al.
It's like that song by Bob Seger in days gone by video "like a rock"
Where did the years go. We were in the happy Carefree days of Youth. Now 66 and at peace with God and Men through Christ, I still Celebrate life and appreciate this excellent piece of artwork and musicians talent.

I just wrote all this great lead-in." "Dammit, somone figure out how to end this." "I agree.. my fingers are bleeding... I gotta stop!" "Would someone please figure out a way to end this? I am getting dizzy!" "Ok... let me see if I can wind this down... Oh crap, just went in another circle." "Dang, would someone find a way out of this, I just lost a thumbnail..." This was recorded down in Florida. They do a couple of annual shows every year around mid-December. It's part of their Christmas Jam. The band always invites friends of theirs which are part of the opening band up on the stage to jam with them. Two members(Jim Fish and Billy Crain) of the Henry Paul Band (a group that Henry put together for a few years in the late '70s) came up on stage to jam with them.
