Y'all have impeccable timing. My great grandmother's funeral was today. I wasn't particularly close to her like many of my family members, so I wasn't hit as hard as others emotionally by her death. What hit me was seeing the end. I was able to get a glimpse of her body before the casket was closed during the service and for whatever reason, this big knot in my chest started to develop and tears began welling up in my eyes. I'm pretty secure when it comes to death, especially when compared to my peers, but the proximity to the body of someone you were talking to a month prior seemed to have struck a cord with me. I say all of this to say, it's such an interesting cross section of events that on a day I am thinking existentially, you guys drop this video talking about aging and your lives. I appreciate y'all. This is the EXACT reason why I love watching Aba & Preach. Their chemistry on camera compliments one another so well. Even on a personal level, it is the most healthy, organic friendship between two guys that could talk about anything and say the realest shit without a care in the world about what other people think about them. The first time I saw them I thought they were brothers but different fathers 🤦🏾♀️. Him handing him gifts that he really loves shows how much they love each other and it is beautiful to see. in 2009, i lost my father who was 40 year old. I for the longest time have missed a father figure from my life. But one of his last wishes was to provide me and my sister top tier education, which my mother made sure we got, even after all the struggle. Now more than a decade later, listening to older and wiser men, really helps. So keep it up, this video was really appreciated.

I loved this whole video. I feel like I’ve seen a tiny glimpse of Aba and Preach (especially Preach) in a more casual everyday light. Kinda like seeing a bit more of what their personalities are off screen. It’s hard to explain but I love how real and genuine this was. This is wholesome af and I needed to find a channel like this on youtube. I had to grow to love myself. Sucks that the only way I learned was through ego deaths and lots of pain. But it feels amazing 15 years from the day I wanted my life to end to see that it went a lot better than I can ever imagine. All it took was a lot of self love and forgiveness.
It’s a very long process and sometimes people go their whole life trying to do what you did. Took me over 20yrs to figure it out, now it’s like a new beginning in my life.

Im sorry to hear youre going through a bad time. Ive been through depression from one side of that shitty tunnel to the light on the other side. I found that the only way to deal with it is to face it head on and try to learn something from it. Appreciating the people in your life is a Great first step, but if you need help please reach out to someone for help. Stress can kill you slowly with a thousand little cuts, and the worst thing you can do is ingore it. When you beat this ( and you will !) you will look back and be empowered by the fight you have won. Stay strong, have patience with yourself and you will get there i promise.

Random cigar tip that no one asked for: you don’t have to remove the label at the start. It is actually easier to take it off when the cigar has heated it up and loosened the adhesive holding the label together. Let’s you keep a label intact and in better looking condition if you collect them and prevents you from doing any damage to the cigar in case the band may be too tightly attached.

Y'all have impeccable timing. My great grandmother's funeral was today. I wasn't particularly close to her like many of my family members, so I wasn't hit as hard as others emotionally by her death. What hit me was seeing the end. I was able to get a glimpse of her body before the casket was closed during the service and for whatever reason, this big knot in my chest started to develop and tears began welling up in my eyes. I'm pretty secure when it comes to death, especially when compared to my peers, but the proximity to the body of someone you were talking to a month prior seemed to have struck a cord with me.
I say all of this to say, it's such an interesting cross section of events that on a day I am thinking existentially, you guys drop this video talking about aging and your lives. I appreciate y'all. You guys are an inspiration. Happy birthday Preach!

in 2009, i lost my father who was 40 year old. I for the longest time have missed a father figure from my life. But one of his last wishes was to provide me and my sister top tier education, which my mother made sure we got, even after all the struggle.

I loved this whole video. I feel like I’ve seen a tiny glimpse of Aba and Preach (especially Preach) in a more casual everyday light. This is wholesome af and I needed to find a channel like this on youtube. I had to grow to love myself. Sucks that the only way I learned was through ego deaths and lots of pain. But it feels amazing 15 years from the day I wanted my life to end to see that it went a lot better than I can ever imagine. All it took was a lot of self love and forgiveness.

Im sorry to hear youre going through a bad time. Ive been through depression from one side of that shitty tunnel to the light on the other side. I found that the only way to deal with it is to face it head on and try to learn something from it. Appreciating the people in your life is a Great first step, but if you need help please reach out to someone for help. Stress can kill you slowly with a thousand little cuts, and the worst thing you can do is ingore it. When you beat this ( and you will !) you will look back and be empowered by the fight you have won. Stay strong, have patience with yourself and you will get there i promise.

Random cigar tip that no one asked for: you don’t have to remove the label at the start. It is actually easier to take it off when the cigar has heated it up and loosened the adhesive holding the label together. Let’s you keep a label intact and in better looking condition if you collect them and prevents you from doing any damage to the cigar in case the band may be too tightly attached.
