This is such a great video. Just the right balance of tech info and the guy just being himself. Perfect.

This is a fantastic video that clarified many things I was wondering about. I do agree with others that showing the rotation of the dial indicator would have been icing on the cake. Most of us weekend hobbyists aren't very familiar with dial indicators and how to place them properly...seems to take some time to get them set up properly. Hey! Great idea for next video! How to set up a dial indicator properly! Show us!

Very informative John! Have everything ready to proceed with this operation. It would be real nice to have it align within spec on bolt up. But that is not my usual luck. Thanks a bunch for making this, it will be of great use. Awesome job on the video too!

great video! I appreciated your demonstration of the procedure that was backed up by the measurement tolerances. Also your one-inch mark tip on the point with a local maximum reading was super helpfull!

    Hey John Blecha,
Glad the video helped. Jim the awesome tech guy over at hurst-drivelines took the time to preview this video and gave the thumbs up to post it. It's a visual of his tech article he wrote.
    Have a great day!!!

Searched far and wide for the easiest way to align the BH - yours was definitely the best, most complete. One other tip for those who are real familiar with a dial indicator, take a few minutes to bone up on the plunger movement so you don't fumble around for a week trying to figure it out like I did. The plunger must be partially depressed when going through John's exercises so you actually have positive / negative movement. And the adjustable dowels recommended here are awesome - wouldn't use anything else.

    Hey Peter Mayo,
Thanks for taking the time to post and the kind words, much appreciated!
Really the credit has to go to Jim the tech guy over at Hurst Drivelines.....I just took what he wrote down and made a video of it. Also it was great Jim took the time to preview the video before uploading it to you tube....Hey your car looks awesome what year is it? what are you running for your drivetrain?
