Thank you for watching! I really appreciate!! 🤘🏻🩷🔥
Just to clarify, in the video, I said that Chris’s brother Adam passed away “a few years later” , but I meant to say “a few years ago” since it actually happened on April 4th 2022.
RIP Legend ♥️
Was about to comment do I Declare War, but decided to check your vids lmao
Loving the nostalgia and weed obscured memories I get from all these early deathcore/Myspace era vids. Some of the side projects and earlier bands you mention are names I haven't heard since the days of the totaldeathcore blog posting regularly.
You should highlight the track the breakdown/riff is from when you show the tracklists with song clips. Some of the early breakdowns are sick in a simple but forgotten way, but I can't listen to a whole ass myspacecore EP in 2024 to find them lol. Idk if your newer vids are like this, but it feels like it's missing that little touch for clarity.
Cheers, breeee breeeee bree. Eternal Shredded Wheat to you and your kin.
Oh snap!!! I'm Jared from the Welcome to Hell era! This was a super fun watch. Good work dawg!
Hey thank you Jared !! Appreciate your comment , and I’m glad you’re doing so well with CZcams and everything, it’s awesome 🤘🏻🔥
@@xtheyan I was lucky to be in KC and I'm just as lucky to be able to do what I do now. Keep up the dope content!
I love when you find an old video performance and there are a bunch of dudes hardcore dancing in front of the band, it just makes my day. Great video, never heard of these guys but they sound good.
This is the way
was awesome when the hardcore culture/scene was more connected to it; I remember seeing the most brutal bands looking like straight up out of Abercrombie and Fitch wearing sandals on stage, sometimes barefoot, going nuts.
Oh man I completely forgot about King Conquer! This channel so cool, I love travelling down memory lane with all of you.
Thanks man !! 🤘🏻
Broooo the hardest vocals evr. But hey my request is SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY and their fiest album PARASITE
I think a lot of newer deathcore bands need to go back and listen to a lot of these bands you are showcasing. Theres so much more feel and heart with these bands.
A lot of these old deathcore bands were very ahead of their time in their own special aspects, which makes each band unique. I wouldn't doubt if a lot of modern brutal deathcore bands used to listen to a lot of King Conquer, Waking the Cadaver and Elysia
Seperate note, but did you ever listen to With Blood Comes Cleansing? They were one of those Christian deathcore bands that ripped your face and honestly didn't seem christian until you looked into them. Anyway, they had great inhaled pig squeals
yeah man , I've been talking to them, I'll do a video for sure
have you listened to I Built The Cross?
@@CheapSushi YES! That was a CZcams gem back in the day
On solid ground 🔨
WBCC perfected the blend of hardcore and death metal. “PERFECT”
The former vocalist Jarrod Smith now has a gaming CZcams channel called Avalanche Reviews covering mostly horror games.
AVALANCHE REVIEWS WAS IN KING CONQUER?!?!?
@@zombiegunner3arc82yes sir. Jarrod from Avalanche Reviews is indeed the same Jarrod Smith from King Conquer 🤘
@@YaBoyJRock42069 youve blown my mind mate holy shit, thanks for sharing that
@@zombiegunner3arc82 He is correct
It’s always funny to me to hear the vocalists regular voice. It’s always so normal. Avalanche has such a smooth soft voice.
Back in the metal scene days of East Texas. King conquer came to play a local show. Show got cancelled, so my buddy had asked his grandma if we could use her front porch to do the show. Kc and every other band showed ip and threw down for free on an old lady’s back porch. One of the coolest down to earth bands I’ve ever had the pleasure of sharing a beer with!
I remember them collecting money at school to go on tour. Love this band. Still have there t-shirts and stickers ❤
Yo mad respect for this one, these guys are from my hometown and I saw these guys grow from a local band to what they became into which seems like overnight such a brutal band but such nice dudes. Chris the drummer is in a band with a guy I use to play in a band with Kyle now called bodysnatcher if you haven't heard them(which I'm sure most have) go check their shit out!! R.I.P Adam
Also R.I.P. Brodie Wheeler, John Byrd and David Norton
Oh man I loooove BodySnatcher, they are hands down are one of my all time favourite bands!
They do crack up interviews too.
Hell yeah…!!! Love these videos, so much nostalgia… Makes me feel old… Can we get a video on Arsonists Get All The Girls…
Yesss! AGATG was sooo good!
Good call
YESSSSS❗️❗️😵🔥🔥
i was totally obsessed with these guys at one point. before i could drive my dad drove us to a their show in SoCal (4 hours) with The Last Ten Seconds. still got the videos on this chanel to this day. i couldn't get enough how far they pushed this genre; definitely kind of paged my way into a love for slamming brutal death a short time later
Your covers sounds sick dude ! 🔥
@@benjaminbovay10 thanks! 🎤 if you want to hear original stuff, check bannds:
• Pestilectomy (brutal death metal)
• Vinnytsia Fatalities (deathcore)
(Pestil is still around, VF is done. we split a few years ago)
@@triplesixmafia Yeah I listened to "Death beats through my heart" a couple years ago, good stuff right there!
Badass! I saw the same show in San Antonio, Tx. Ill never forget the vocal check and how low he could go
One of my all time favorites! Seen them at least 5 times live.
King Conquer was my favorite band when i was in middle school, wish i got to see them live, gladly you made a video on them!
Yo, thank you for this one. I remember seeing them a lot in NY numerous times around 2010, 2011, 2012. I still listen to America's most haunted.
Thank you for covering King Conquer! It's so cool you cover a lot of the underrated bands that I typically like to listen.
So is Jered the old singer. He’s a CZcamsr
I grew up in south west florida and remember going to local shows while in high school seeing king conquer. Great video, thanks for giving them them the spotlight!
That’s awesome!! Thank you for watching and commenting , I appreciate 🤘🏻🔥
Same! I live I'm north port,Florida near venice. I always saw them at the chop shop! Last time I saw them was with rose funeral
I’ve know these dudes since 2003. Chris is like a brother to me.
Shout out to Knock ‘Em Dead 🫡
Oh shit! Whatup! It's Jared
My favorite time seeing them was at the anchor in southern CA. Amazing band.
I saw these guys like 12 or 13 years ago in a small bar in jersey, and ended up meeting my 1/2 brother that I hadn’t seen in years there and we moshed together, it was a very nice family reunion
so many good bands outta south FL,
need a deep dive on Adaliah
Adaliah is a must!!! Played with them in like 2012!! Such cool dudes!!
@@ashtionstone one of my favorites to this day
I haven't listened to the early eps before, reminds me a lot of Prayer for Cleansing and early Between the Buried and Me
Had the vocalist screaming in my face when I saw them back in like 2014… Great memory lol
Decomposing normality continues to be one of my most listened to deathcore albums. Absolute perfection.
Man, thanks a lot for this episode! Absolutely love King Conquer! Unique band, its a shame they didn't continue! James is such a beast of a vocalist!
woah i was just listening to dark skies have fallen recently (totally random, i was clicking recommended videos) and i had no clue it was king conquer.
Great video as usual! One my favorite old school deathcore bands! I found them on Decomposing Normality! Luckily I got to see them live in Florida and Texas and it was a banger each time! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
22:20 100% agree with you here I remember feeing exactly this way when the album came out
Highkey King Conquer was a GAME CHANGER 🔥
always love to see your new posts
🤘🏻🔥💜
Should do "Dreaming In Oceans" or "State of East London" next!!
Ohh yeaa! I loved King Conquer! Great video as always. I know you probably get a lot of requests. But the bands “Volumes” or “Animosity” would be awesome to see in your future videos 😁🤘
I literally lived near these dudes! Florida has a lot of amazing bands. Every time i saw king conquer i left with a broken bone lol...
I remember seeing King Conquer in 2011 at the Westcoast Bar in the UK. they were part of the Suffokate and Blind Witness tour. it was their 1st time in the UK at the time and holy fuck James's vocals were insane plus they were the 1st band at the venue I went to brake the PA system at the time too
Wow... i been waiting for this one, when americas most haunted came out it was the heaviest album i had herd and that album never left my cd player for months. I always wondered what happened to one of my favorite bands, really sad that 3 people in 1 band passed away 😢. KING CONQUER FOREVER!! and i had no idea chris played drums for bodysnatcher i got tickets to see them in may in detroit cant wait..love these videos keep them coming!
U gotta make one about the red shore!
Wild story here, I actually had a classmate in High School who moved from Naples to Miami and was a part of Dark Skies Have Fallen/A Horror Story. He had told me about the band and handed me A Switchblade Serenade and Conquer. Every so often I think about this time in my life. I was really into the local scene not long after, but I really loved the music he gave me. Found out they changed their name to King Conquer after I started photographing in the Miami Scene. I don't know if you've ever heard about it, but in Miami we had a riot in one of the venues with All Shall Perish and Suicide Silence. It was the single strike that really knocked the Miami scene down. Our scene would constantly destroy venues and alienate anyone wanting to put up shows.
So cool to see my home town band on a video like this great job!!
thanks man !
Miss these guys everyday, but Bodysnatcher is also sick as fuck. Glad to see Chris still fighting the fight!🤘
I haven't stopped watching your videos over and over again I enjoy them very much. You still do live streams on twitch?
I literally just put their " Decomposing Normality" EP into my stereo sytem when I got notification about this upload haha
please do Knights Of The Abyss next
So my brother had a band called A Dank Season. Or ADS back then. And we grew up with the guys from King conqueror went to school with Adam and Brodie a matter of fact Brody was my brother's best friend for years before he died. We used to play shows with them locally all the time. Those guys were a bunch of awesome motherfukers and some of the funnest shows we ever played was with them. I was featured in one of the EP for a dank season. Call battery on Leo which is what the EP ended up being called. We wrote the song in my garage and brought it to the lead singer of a dank season at the time and we ended up recording it together and I got to go on stage and perform it live a bunch of times. There is nothing more exhilarating than performing live on stage at a heavy metal show.
Yes!!! Been waiting for this i loved this band and they just vanished never got to see them😢
Another banger of a video brother 🤘🏻
Thanks man ! 🤘🏻
Finally you did my all time favorite
I am really enjoying all of these videos! I also want to say your English is fantastic, and don't let anyone else tell you differently 🙂
hey man , appreciate your kind words, you're awesome !
@@xtheyan Thank you, you too! These video series are awesome to listen to while working.
king conquer is the greatest deathcore band of all time i am from florida i grew up in tampa no band matches the furiosity of theses guys i was at a lot of shows shown in these videos, the first show i ever attended was at the skatepark of tampa i saw king conquer, take charge, the red shore, and hell followed with, and murder death kill it was terrifying
One of the craziest shows tampa ever saw, i remember seeing the red shore at spot like it was yesterday holy shit 😭
I completely forgot about these guys
RIP Adam ❤
Awesome video dude! You should totally do a video on Salt the Wound if you get the chance.
Thanks ! They’re on my list for sure
BRO YOU DID NOT JUST DO A KING CONQUER VIDEO... FUCKING THANK YOU !!!!
New subscriber here like your videos man 🤘....A video on in dying arms and the juliet massacre please !!!!
Was lucky enough to meet their singer in denver at a Last ten seconds of life show many years ago, he was a hella dope dude but scary in the pit lol
Bro I wonder will you ever make a video Black Dahlia Murder? I know they arent a deathcore band but since they had a bit of influence in certain core bands, I honestly wanna see you make a video on them.
I think they absoulutley hit gold when they came to the sound of "Decomposing Normality" 13:17
One small critique: a lot of times I think you don’t seem to mention a bands influences that pre-date a lot of the stuff you THINK they were trying to sound like. In this case, early king conquer was obviously trying to sound like bands such as heartscarved, prayer for cleansing, as hope dies, & other tribunal records bands from the late 90s.. not sure if you’re unfamiliar with tht pre-deathcore era of bands or not.
I played with prayer for cleansing when I was in As Darkness Falls. Such a great band. !!
@@WrapMasterLLC one of the best to do it
Yoooooo sick
Bro, i know it’s not Deathcore but you should do black Dahlia murder. They were the poster child for scene kids back in the day.
Oh yeah , they're on my list for sure
You should do Fear Before the March of Flames, heavy heavy low low, or monsters
i dont know if you have already, but could you do one of these on The Handshake Murders
when I was a kid, the first deathcore show i went to had the handshake murders and norma jean, and they changed my damn life man
I had no idea what i was getting into my friend Charlie (and vocalist for all sorts of bands) brought me and... it was amazing
BRUTAL⚠️⚡️💥🔥💯
I remember seeing them with sworn in , 3 fights broke out and they still finished they’re set. 🙏🏻
I remember that tour! eat your heart out tour I believe? It was king conquer, sworn in, last ten seconds of life
Can you please do a video of the band underneath the gun they are amazing classic deathcore band
Saw this band as AHS badass live show.
Decomposing normality is what got me into King Conquer
Solid
Do one on Blind Witness!
Had no clue Tony became/is spookyloopz, holy Shit!
Damn this rules!
😤🤘🏻🔥
Dude props to the SlamWich shirt! Band fucking rips!!!
I find it crazy that four of their band members died
the 🐐
Saw them once with dealey plaza and orthodox
The BEST 😂😂😂
I love that they were Ron Paul fans and made that 1776 album with awesome lyrics. Would be nice if they were still around too many woke metal bands today.
RIP Adam and Brodie
Honestly bummed A Horror Story isn't on Spotify
As you said Big Mac
I grabbed my sandwich lmao
Played a show with them when I was 15 and had my mom drive me there lol still the loudest heaviest band I have ever heard live.
I believe you haha
33:30 I gotta interfere here and defend John Byrd! The guy quite frankly miscalculated and sold more merch than they had left. At the time I thought it was a huge scam and sent him an angry dm calling him names and whatever and to my surprise he replied and in a friendly manner too. He said he f ed up and apologized. He told me that he thought they had more merch left than they actually had. Perhaps the drugs played a role and he genuinely mixed up some numbers. Anyways, I got my money back. I felt really bad when he passed because I knew that despite his bad rep he was a good dude
I knew John. He was actually really rad ! ❤
Man 6 gallon gasoline stomach I played that shit so much 🔥🔥🔥🔥
i love metal music but Deathcore is my life . i follow this chanel since In Death I Rise ( luv u)
Saludos desde argentina & Make Deathcore Great Again.
I appreciate you!! Thanks for all the love and support 💜🔥
I love you yannnnn
First show I ever saw was an As Blood Runs Black tour with them on it, I The Breather and a few others. I think Burning The Masses maybe was there also. Such an iconic first concert 😩🖤 I miss tf out of these dudes. 1776 was one of the greatest deathcore albums ever written.

Love these vids! Certainly, no disrespect but careful with the word “beastiality” 😂 I obviously kno what u mean but…😬😂
what do u think of as blood runs black
One of the most influencial and amazing bands
239s finest
Very violent band miss them a lot
I booked these guys around the time they kicked out Jon. He was SUCH a dick to EVERYONE. Every band, local and touring, venue employees, and the promoters. The rest of the band were super sweet, but he was such an awful dude that it soured my opinion of them. I cannot imagine touring with him.
Kicking him out was an absolute no-brainer. Imo, he kicked himself out.
its weird as hell seeing kirkbride lolollolol screw that guy
