Jj Redick brought me here
been watching soo much NBA player podcast that I had to see what the hype about bourre is lool
Big Perk and JJ brought me here
I'm now ready to join the nba
Here after Rashad Wallace interview 😳
Kind of reminds me of a game we call Tonk down south without the spreads
Wow, I miss this game. Pots get crazy big once they build up and almost every round goes 3-handed to avoid a winner then people end up booraying because they played marginal hands.
So its Spades with extra steps. Got it
Say diamonds is trump, the king of spades is played followed by a 7 of diamonds. if I have a 5 of diamonds and a jack of clubs left in my hand do I have to play trump (5 of diamonds) knowing that it will lose or can I keep it to try and win the next hand by playing the jack of clubs?
I’m here after I heard this game cause fights in NBA
I'm here after the Rasheed Wallace interview
Not sure if I understand the last rule stated
I'm only here because of JJ & JR Smith & I need to start a Bouree night
Who here after the Cam Newton, Jordan story 😂
here because Gilbert Arenas
Me too
Haitian’s love dis game
So do Cajuns, comme ça
We used to ante quarters in high school, these games could get out of hand quickly
You’re here cause of JR Smith interview on JJ PODCAST? Welcome
Hi! I really like this channel. Is there any way I can submit to you new games? I came up with 3 (!) new card games. I'd love to know if other people will enjoy them.
try boardgamegeek.com. you can even become a designer on there
Great game. Bets are escalating quickly!
We play every week
Looks like an easy cool card game, sadly,I dont have anyone to play with me :(
Yeah,I looked up some of this apps, but I think its always better to play with real persons
@@adrio.3947 Visit me ;-)
Gilbert Arenas brought me here
I got notification BC im musican and stuff like bouree in E major xd
Can we buy GTG playing cards?
I like the design.
Maybe someday in the future!
Why was the 3 flipped over and put back into the dealers hands?
At the beginning of the game, he deals 5 cards to everybody. The last card dealt, the fifth card to the dealer, is flipped face up, and that determines the trump suit for that round. Once everybody gets their replacement cards if they choose, the dealer then puts that fifth card back into his hand for play.
dennis schröder told me to
Rasheed Wallace sent me here lol
So its solo euchre n spades at the same time
Here because Gilbert Arenas on vladtv
Nba rookies take notes
So spades but with chips????
Cam Newton
Shidd Cam Newton says this game is a real friend killer🤦🏾♂️
3:31 - why does Jack win over King?
The trump suit beats any other suit. Even a 2 of trump (in this game above it is diamonds) can beat an Ace of any other suit (above, clubs, hearts and spades). At the beginning of the game, he deals 5 cards to everybody. The last card dealt, the fifth card to the dealer, is flipped face up, and that determines the trump suit for that round.
@@jeannineross4046good looking
what does he mean trump suited card?
So basically its solo spades with a changing trump suit.
When does the game usually end?
When someone pulls out a gun
@@johnnyvalentino8720 oh boy. We have such strict weapon laws in Germany, that is nothing to worry about 😂 but seriously with how many chips does one start the game? And I guess the game end when the first player runs out of money/chips.
The sinch is confusing me
I wish this guy would put more breaks in between sentences. Obviously you can pause & rewind the video, but it’s like a constant monotone wave hitting you and makes it difficult to absorb what he’s saying.
It seems everyone in the NBA has played this game lol
😅 you lost me at the end my guy
When you find out the game your mom taught you when you were 5 is called booray
Who's here after Club Shay Shay?
I'm just here because I heard Gilbert Arenas ruined his life playing this game , and it was the most popular among NBA players.
Isn't there supposed to be an additional hand, called the Widow?
Is this not just spades with extra steps I don’t see why not just play spades
No, because spades is not always trump.
why player 4 won @3:32 player 2 had king of hearts
Because it wasn’t a trump suited card and the Jack was.
Diamonds were the trump suit. So any diamond would beat it
Because diamonds were the trump suit
Looks like a game of spades
My initial reaction was that I thought it would be a more interesting card game. Then I realized why would I think a bunch of athletes would be playing an interesting card game?
Yes I'm sure athletes prefer to play boring games over interesting ones. Great take! 😂
No one plays like this. Its just 5 card spades… you dont have to play a play to win card.
Must be real Cajuns playing the game cuz player two played the King of Hearts and should have won the trick not player 4. The Cajuns have a lot of rules that come up out of the blue while playing like One Eyed Jack reverses the play, etc.
Diamonds was the trump suit.
And I thought it didn't get any more boring than Uno. No thanks.
You are soooo wrong this game is very fun and can't be boring we play with 10 people
@@erikaenge62 Then invite me over ☺️
@@SCYTHE2525 I'm in California and you
There is absolutely nothing boring, or easy for that matter, with bourre'. It is one of the most cut throat card games around. It is one of those games that you can play for years and still not get all the ins and outs. My grandparents both played (in French, because that is the language they spoke) and my Dad was a fierce player. These days the game is still very popular with the older Cajun ladies. And they are serious players.
Can someone explain the cinch
