I would love to see the ready built ones to have ball bearings come with them automatically.

I also like to see all their kits straight from the beginning originally and new come back out and to have all their kits that they have out now start coming with ball bearings. And start producing them all with all hex drive screws.

There's hope yet. The BBX BB01 came with both of what you're asking for. Steep price though 300+ pounds here in the UK. Though you can find them cheaper at times. I got a DT-03 Racing Fighter kit instead. Got some BBs coming and a couple of other upgrades like the turnbuckles. Still no Hex hardware though :'D

I don't understand why Tamiya made this. Who are they expecting to buy this? It costs a fair amount more than the kit version, comes with a downgraded ESC (the TBLE-02 is a much more versatile ESC) vs. the kit, doesn't have bearings and costs more than a Traxxas Bandit XL-5. I love you Tamiya, but sometimes you do some weird things. Stick to making fun kits.

I'll be honest--I think they're for me. I've loved Tamiya kits since I was a kid but I've never bought one for myself, and I'm hesitant to get a kit that I have to build all the way. I've always wanted a Lunch Box and I think I'll now finally be getting one thanks to this series.

@@ryanhodges2296 i totally get it. you buy tamiya for the assembly and quality ( user experience )... if you just want a nice looking buggy f.e. to drive around you will find plenty of preassembled options including batteries, servo, radiocontroller in a set that are cheaper or on par with the kit prices of tamiyas entry lvl models like the neo fighter.. people buying this will be a really small nieche that do like to buy the quality and feel of tamiya without the work, or would have otherwise payed somebody to build it for them.. other than that this only makes tamiya more susceptible to price comparisons as people will see that prebuild models from company x,y,z are cheaper, have more power and performance parts and are far cheaper and come with a radiocontroller, batteries and everything else you need.... If I was in the market for an rc car for myself or as a present for a child I would defenitely go with a tamiya kit as it offers a good building experience.. prebuild is just nah.. if you buy prebuild there are better AND cheaper options than tamiya IMO..

@@phantomleap I just bought a lunch box kit! I built in in about 3 hours! I’ve built a Big Wig and a Grasshopper. Very enjoyable and really not that complicated. The BigWig was probably the most time consuming because it’s a four wheel drive, but not hard at all! Give it a shot. There’s nothing more satisfying than getting a box full of parts and turning it into a kickass RC car that runs well. Don’t be intimidated by it..you’ll love it!

Right what to say about this video. First the guy doesn't have a clue. Second... Apart from the XB body your still going to have to take the thing apart to put bearings in it. Yet another fail from tamiya. Don't waist your money on this.. Buy the kit and build it yourself.. There not difficult to build at all and alot cheaper than these.
