What a joyful film. The experience of stepping into the cool silence of centuries, and finding a sense of self understood in the process - this huge yet subtle reward of church visiting was captured for me in this journey to Illington. Thank you.

What a total delight. The commentary was a pleasure to listen to and the presenter a joy to watch. What a wonderful little gem of a church. I look forward to the next few episodes.

this is such a wonderful thing to do.. maybe a bit slower, but you get to see and experience different places and i think churches can link us to our past and our ancestors..
if i walk into a church and see the our father written in strong black across some fading life of a saint or something.. gives me such thrills and even a chill? lots of emotions in these places..

Excellent presentation. In the best traditions of Sir John Betjeman's film 'Norfolk Churches'.

I hope to one day visit several East Anglian villages where various family members had lived long ago. That being a costly and remote hope, I was very pleased to find this effort. Thank you
