He moved on to a better woman in Kristina who loves and appreciates him for the person he is inside. Mary ended up having to be a single mom to her and Max's son after he leaves her for her best friend.
She ain't right. Deceiving her husband like that đ đĄ. I hope she gets what she deserves (no money, no home, and no lover).
She did in the end. Mary lost out because Howard was smart to remind her that they have a prenup arrangement she had signed before they got married and with the evidence of her affair with Max, he made sure she was left with nothing after the divorce.

In trying to get everything she wanted in life through trickery and treachery, Howard's superficial ex-wife lost everything. If she had Max's child without Howard realizing her deceptions, she would have likely arranged Howard's death by an accident once the child was confirmed as his heir, leaving her with complete control over Howard's fortune. Being superficial means that you don't appreciate how precious something really is until you've lost it.

Mary lost everything in the end. Howard proved to be a lot smarter than what she thought and did his research. When Mary found out that he knew about her affair with Max and she unwittingly signed a waiver revealing her wrongdoings, she realized she was caught in her own web of lies. Howard divorced her and left her with nothing. He moved on to a better woman in Kristina who loves and appreciates him for who he is inside. She and Howard got married and have a daughter together. As for Mary, Max left her immediately after she was left broke and started dating her best friend, Cathy. She was left to raise their son on her own and having to learn how to provide for them the hard way.

Wow I'm so sorry but Christina is such a floozy. She's so manipulative and toxic. She got her karma for cheating on Howard who did not deserve at all what was done to him.
