First of all, if someone at all has the Holy Spirit living within them, than they cannot have demons as well. The Holy Spirit does not share hos place with demons or evil spirits. Darkness and light cannot coexist, any more then the Holy SPirit can coexsit with Satan. We are either Gods children or Satans, and we do what our Father does. You should stop listening to false things, and spread them further.
That's why sickness can live in you, because you have the Holy Spirit
@@kellydarrius No, either you have deomns living in you, or the holy spirit or nothing at all. Those are the only three possablilty. And we can all become sick and ill, and even die from it. Sickness has nothing to do with demons.
@ingemojonsall3402 So, either the Holy Spirit is compatible with sickness, or our bodies aren't so full of the Spirit so as to not allow that evil.
Satan himself came into God's presence in Job, a lying spirit came to God in 2 Chronicles, God's presence fills heaven and earth, and demonic idols were at various times placed in the temple of God in his very presence. Demonstrably, God's presence isn't as aggressively contrary to the presence of demons as you'd think.
Many Christians are plagued with various vices that accord more with the working of the prince of the power of the air (ephesians 2:2 - 3, colossians 3:5 - 6) than the nature of God, yet the Holy Spirit endures our sinful nature and is still able to dwell in our spirits despite our sinful fleshly nature.
So what makes you think the indwelling presence, which, again, is not prevented by our evil fleshly nature, is the exception?

Demons cannot dwell with people in their spirit because it is united with the holy spirit.. They however can still be in a persons soul..which is the mind, will, and emotions.. We have to allow the holy spirit to take over those areas in our soul! We cannot be possessed..but we can be be oppressed
