    Hi Suzy just to say I love your bangles. I made some of these a few years ago for a wedding I was working on everyone loved them. But had a hectic few years since, I’m now a grandmother to a very clever little boy who has asked if I can teach him how to make some, after being in hospital last year & having to do a lot of recovery at home I think I’m ready to get back to what I love doing.       There are 2 purposes to hammer the wire.
      1. make texture on the wire. It looks beautiful.
      2. The wire becomes stronger.

      The wires are harder after hammering. It keeps its shape well.

    Just read through the comments and saw you got your pliers from Amazon; is there a specific model or name of that plier so I can look it up on Amazon? I'm trying to make a bracelet that starts with a wire wrap around a labadorite cabachon and then has the type of bracelet links you show in this video

    I got 18 gauge wire but it’s too soft . What kind do you use ?

      I also used soft wire. If too soft, you can change the wire to 16 or half hard.
