- Due to licensing issues, the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss and SLR Mclaren 722 Edition have been removed from NFS Hot Pursuit Remastered 2020. But thanks to mods, they are back! Along with their 1:1 performance and physics from Hot Pursuit 2010. Showcasing the cars in Highway Battle, Pushing The Envelope & Hard Target events.

Recently, I ended up getting my car launched in this game when I called in one of the helicopters. That was the first time I’ve been able to see a glitch that caused me confusion.

Copters can’t be emp’d by the player when in a cop side mission.
I do see that the 722 lacks the damage model, but otherwise, really nice to see the cars back on action!
Mercedes
There could be two possible reasons for that:
1. It could be related to the model since it's ported straight from the og hot pursuit 2010
2. Stellar entertainment, the devs who made this remaster altered the damage models for cars and they feel less damaged then they were in the og hp 2010. You can check nick930's Hot pursuit vs Hot pursuit remastered video for more info.
Wrong, the data of VehicleDamageBehavior for the 722 couldn’t get copied over due to missing elements.

Are they able to be used in online modes? I imagine it'd require other players to have the mod as well
They replace the existing cars like Ford GT, so they can be used online.
But to the console players and PC players who don't know/have this mod, you will look like cheating in a slow car.

Who knows? I’ve asked Enthuse about that and he said if he’s going to get “paid” to work on the E7.
No point, almost nobody plays performance class. SLRs were added back, as exotic is the most popular class.

Game won't crash for anyone, it's a replacement mod. In online people will just see you using Bentley, Ford GT or one 77.
