That second stand fan had an IMPRESSIVE spindown. I've seen shorter spindowns on ceiling fans.
Also, Where is the elevator? I would like to see that. (I do elevators along with ceiling fans)

I'm pretty sure there should be more speed variation on the huge Freshy, that and high should be a LOT faster. Have you checked the values on that capacitor? Is there some other gadget that works alongside the cap, like some sort of resistor or something?

It has one capacitor and a speed coil. Capacitor tests good and current draw is correct. Bypassing the speed coil yields the same high speed.
I think having a heavy metal blade it is slower than the bakelite versions.

It honestly outperforms all our other circulators including the Hunter, which I didnt think possible.
