got a magna flow exhaust with a k&n short ram intake, it sounds AMAZING! changing the intake manifold and exhaust make it sound a lot better, would love to see you add those

@@carlosmelendez8317 I've heard from my back seat passengers that it's very annoying on long trips. Doesn't bother on short trips or where acceleration changes frequently though. Depends are rpm

hell yeah man i had a intake and exhaust on my 02 Acura RSX-S and it was a blast.... had it for about 10 years and i now have a 2012 civic si sedan but i am not sure if i wanna get a intake and exhaust.... i would like to but its just not as important to me like it use to be lol especially when i just try to drive slow now and not get tickets for a loud car or racing around and being spotted cause my car was loud.... there were so many times i got pulled over and the cop would say if it wasn't for your exhaust i wouldn't of even looked at you.... lol pretty funny but makes sense

i was gonna say too.... you should look into getting a K-Tuned Master Cylinder and Slave Cylinder clutch kit..... its not that expensive and it makes a massive difference when shifting.... also throw on some acuity shifter bushings... i have done that and a couple other things like front and back sway bars stuff like that... its all made a massive handling and driving difference
I remember the difference in sound the first time lol! I was like WHOA!!! Installed a Skunk 2 (found at junkyard for $100) but was TOO obnoxious. I would go full race

Because of the short Ram is your car running more hot ? Because I'm told that the short Ram is just all about sound and it sucks in the hot air from inside the hood
Yes the car does heat soak more due to the short ram. It sounds great, but it does pull in hot air. Especially where these sit in the bay directly next to the engine. It’s been shown that you get more gains on stock intake than with a short ram from what’s been posted online
I put a 8th gen intake on my 2015 fb6 my check engine light turn on and it would start hesitating when I would make a pull also when I would start up the car it kinda wanted to die due to low idle does anyone knows the reason why??

Haha I'm the opposite I was trying to get a 8th gen accord Coupe V6 6 speed but they are way too expensive in my area, so I got a 2014 civic si sedan which is pretty nice

Yeah if you’re already tuned for a CAI you’ll need to change it for the short ram
Why switching to short ram? IMO cai is the way to go, especially if you can afford an Acuity Curl and a tune (which I cannot currently)
@@outofmind9222 my si came with injen cold air intake but I had to switch it because my car is low on coilovers and I had an incident where water got inside the filter and my car was down for like a week. Luckily nothing bad happened just had to let it dry out and stuff.
