I took a week-long trip from Paris to the Puy de Dôme region with a trailer attached to a hybrid Jogger on both the outward and return journeys.
Once there, I drove without a trailer for short local trips.
My fuel consumption was 5.4 liters per hundred kilometers. The electric distance covered was 523 km out of a total of 1176 km, for an average speed of 61 km/h.
I really appreciated the B mode on downhill sections, which gave me good electric braking even when the battery was full.
I had very little need to use the brake pedal on descents, where the travel mode was always in EV with the combustion engine at a standstill.
Starting with a battery that's 50% full, you have to go down a gradient of around 200 meters before it's fully charged.
When the battery is at 100%, the Jogger still has the same electric braking capacity, as the starter-alternator drives the combustion engine at idle to dissipate braking energy.
Driving this car in a mountain region like the Puy de Dôme in France was a great experience and I felt very secure in all the slopes and bends.
That was a nice vacation trip and I appreciated the Jogger for what it is a simple car with just what you need and no more.
By the way, there was a WiFi connection b/w my phone and the car entertainment system.

Thanks for sharing! Sound very interesting and I’m surprised by the amount that you traveled electrically. Any complaints when it comes to ride quality or so on ?

@@NonstopDrivingReviews The ride quality and handling are very good but this was the first time I drove an hybrid car and it feels very special as from time to time the engine kicks in a very high rev for a short duration just to replenish the battery. But this does not affect the driving as it does just what you ask.
When I use it around Paris the car is powered about 56% of the traveled distance in electric mode. But being powered in electric mode does not mean the 4 cylinder engine is stopped as most of a time it is only used to replenish the battery and not to move the car.
My fuel consumption is 4.7 liters per hundred kilometers when travelling around Paris.
My main complaint is not really mine its is my husband who is tall and needs to bend his neck when he wants to enter the driving seat. But the second raw of seats is really accessible for tall people.
The distance b/w the front and rear axle is really long and moving in parking lots require a lot of maneuvers. The rear view camera is a must.
Your video is really good. Thank you.

I have a Hybrid SE Extreme in the UK, its not meant to have wireless android auto. I was told this by the dealer. Bonus was it has wireless. I would say my only real negative is i struggle to get in the car. For a big car it is very low at the front

I’ve seen that on multiple Dacia models, the Dacia duster also sometimes has had a wireless connection even though it not supposed to have one. Are you generally happy with the car ?

Yes as its more practical. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo and picnic, so six of us including a baby car seat, one seat out to make room for a 44l electric cooler. I could never do that in my last car, i would not of got the cooler in my boot.
I think the finish is rough around the edges, you look closely and you can see where the corners are cut. My last car was a 2021 Honda Jazz Crosstar hybrid, to be honest a far better car in terms of quality . I sacrificed that for more room, something i was never going to afford in another makes of car.

Just like to add, the middle row middle seatbelt. You put the belt throw the seat handle behind you. I also leave the first buckle permanently in, so it doesn't retract

Try adjusting your seat down and adjust steering wheel position I got into a demo car and my head hit the door entrance but I got my hybrid it was fine.

I like my Jogger hybrid extreme it has everything I need and drives brilliant. The only thing I laugh at is my wife can't reach up to close the tail gate when she takes the shopping out dacia could have fitted some sort of a hanging strap or even better would be a back opening window on the tail gate but anyway still a great car for the money glad I went for automatic makes life a lot easier. ❤

😂 good that the car brings some laughter in the family. I would for sure always get an automatic if I mainly use it for the city/ transporting kids. Thanks for sharing

There is no point in buying a hybrid, it is expensive and the operating costs are on par with the LPG version. If Dacia continues to raise prices, it will be replaced by Chinese competition. Dacia has always scored in terms of price/utility value. You can see how EU officials are pushing it to collapse.

No, you use petrol a lot less in cities, and it's on par with diesels in general. The weak point is motorway, diesels are the kings. Same thing with the Corollas.
And it's an automatic, and it is 140bhp. I would never go with a 3 cylinder one litre engine on such a big car. Nope. Whether the technology can be as reliable as Toyota's, time will tell.

@@0bzen22 Yes, the hybrid is the king of cities. Still, most of the reviews for it are from out of town. Personally, I would not go for the hybrid version despite the price and will buy the LPG version.
