Nelly went to Filipine at the Filipine Philarmonic Orchestra, the conductor of the Orchestra Mr Roberto Rodendro. She was lucky the communist Filipine government didn't deport her back to România she managed to emigrate to uk. She landed in Scotland, at the Edinburgh Festival where she sing Traviata. The road in exile is very hard to adapt to understand the English society and their mentality. I am glad she managed to celebrate her birthday in Romania and to retire to concentrate to teaching the young generation the art of singing. One of her students is the Moldovan soprano opera singer who is the twice winner of Cardiff singer. Valentina Nofirnița. Valentina remains me of Nelly when she was young
