About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

“We had a funny guy with us in Korea. They blew his brains out all over the Pacific.” 😂😂😂😂🤣
There's nothing funny about that
Wow dude buzz kill
Theres nothing funny about that
tail gunner ......
I could have swore Jerry replied to that with "So do you write children's books?"
George: We'll say we are frightened and have to go home.
Jerry: Oh yeah, like that will work. He’d clunk our heads together like Moe!
It's the TRUTH, tho!😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
i love that line!! cracks me up every time!!
Thanks I forgot the part when he said that
To this day, no matter how many times I see the scene of Jerry yanking his arm away, it makes me laugh.
You know what's even funnier. He did this to George so many times 🤣
The sound effects in this scene, after the 100th time I’ve seen it… are so funny! The creaking in the floorboards
OMG! I'm the same way. Its a brilliant piece of physical comedy that is so subtle, but adds so much to the scene.
It is my life.
George* yanks his hand away. Not Gerald.
“We’ll say we’re frightened and we have to go home “! made me absolutely bust a gut the first time I heard it. I still laugh when I hear it.
This was my first time watching this part. I died laughing too.
My wife's favorite Seinfeld line
Jerry was talking about how confident he was in that jacket but Elaine's father brought him back down to earth quick 😂..
I love how he's wearing a black cotton blazer with khaki pants and George is wearing a green cardigan instead of a jacket with brown pants. I also wear a blue cardigan with khakis under an winter overcoat, or a brown blazer. It's nice how you can switch up cardigan and blazer underneath an overcoat or a raincoat.
@@hufficag you like cardigans?
@@JustPlainSteve5372 Yeah they're like a soft blazer you can wear at the office every day.
@@JustPlainSteve5372
Like ‘em?!

Gotta love the exchange between George and Elaine’s father… George: “You like ice…?” Father: “LIKE it??!” That’s an underrated exchange. 😆
Ikr?
The whole scene is brilliant 😂😂😂
dont you find you get more without it lol
Drivel
I don't think any scene in history, cinema or TV, has captured an awkward encounter like this so perfectly. You feel the tension in your bones
Ikr?
And most of us can totally relate 😂😂😂
@@melodiefrances3898 ikr
If you look up “always sunny raccoon meat” it makes this seem like a first date
Yes, I was totally uncomfortable just watching the exchange
The thing that makes this so funny is that we have all had this experience and all been terrified like Jerry and George 🤣🤣🤣
There are many sociopaths that wouldn't even blink an eye with this guy LOL! :)
The one memorable scene among many in this sitcom that brought out the Stereotypical Self Depreciating Transparent in weakness "Jew" - We can't leave now - what will we tell him? Well tell him we're frightened and we have to go home.
Could be the all time line
@@paladinr3016 Yeah they would.. Sociopaths easily get intimidated, by a more dominant man. They pray on the weak
That's what makes this episode, and all of "Seinfeld", so timelessly funny: It points out the humor in everyday scenarios we've all been in.
The actor playing Elaine's dad is just awesome.
I was surprised to find out he was an actor in various black and white films from the 1950s I've seen.
He was kind of nuts apparently. He was supposed to be a recurring character but they were actually scared of him lol
He was the boss in reservoir dogs also
The Thing. Guy looks just like The Thing. Y'know, like from the Fantastic Four?
Laurence Tierney was awesome. Natural gravitas and some to spare.
One of the most memorable scenes from Seinfeld
Funny guy..His brain's were blown all over the Pacific....
I bust out laughing... nothing funny about that
Tail gunner
In fairness, that IS hilarious!
😉😆

'Don't you find that you get more without it?'
George and I think exactly alike and that's why I love this show.
Gimme a kids steak quesadilla, black beans, white rice, chips, and a coke no ice.
Like when people like "George" come to my bar asking "rum and coke no ice", and then they said .."why my glass is no full..??",
I just look at them , i paused , and then i place the check in front of them, and ..SMH....
@@mauriciodupuy408 why not just give them more coke? It'll take more drinks to grt buzzed and presumably you're getting tipped 20%+
@@zanguusu The ice makes the glass appear fuller than it is, I imagine the guy is saying he puts the same amount of liquid whether it has ice or not. But I understand your point, it wouldn't hurt to add a bit more coke to make the glass full.
a shot is a shot, ice or not.
Forget Joe Devola, this guy was the most intimidating character.
In real life too, from what I've read.
George left alone with Elaines father, his face is epic when Jerry goes to bathroom 🤣
We’ll say we’re frightened and we have to go home.
He'd crack our heads together like Moe.

The fact is George is the best actor out of the bunch. A very detailed actor that does not miss a beat!!
But… Michael Richards is so good
@@zachsalvatore5175 I hear he's not that good live
Many say that about george, surprisingly, he is the only one of the four stars of this series who did not receive an award, which is unfathomable.
George is the only good actor among the bunch.
Elaine is okay most of the times..
Jerry is just terrible
@@malicious9608I loved one act in particular
Hilarious when George imitates Elaine's Father by saying "He's in the bathroom" and sounding exactly like Mr. Benes!
So funny 😂👍

Mr. Benes: “Nothing funny about that.”
(audiences busts out in laughter)
"He's in da batroom!"😅
When George goes to bathroom after Jerry is one of the brilliants scene ive ever seen, so funny
Jerry not being able to not smile the whole time is so funny. It's part of the charm of this show.
True
Really? That non-stop smiling makes a lot of his scenes unwatchable for me. He has improved somewhat throughout the years, but his acting is mostly atrocious on the show. Easily the worst of the main cast, which makes sense because he was not an actor.
I volunteered at the Veteran's Hospital once, in 1999, my old guy was 92, Mr. Flowers. There are no words to describe the impossibility of relating to him. Particularly because he was in late stage dementia and one of the only words I could get out of him was "cold" when I took him outside for a walk.
Thats really. Just another reason I don't want to believe in or love a God that would let a situation like thst exist
I know that guy was a bit "unhinged" but he was a great intimidating force.
"We'll say we are frightened and we have to go home"😂😂😂😂😂
I admit, I don't get that line... what's it mean?
It's still strange seeing Lawrence Tierney from Reservoir Dogs on Seinfeld, I hear he creeped out the entire cast
strange to you, it's normal for us avid Seinfeld fans
Cough up a buck you cheap b@st*rd
Best line in that movie
Very True Story about Lawrence being a bit "Nefarious" on set! One video that can be seen on CZcams is the behind the scenes of this particular episode...and quite a few of the actors and personnel were leery of Mr. Tierney! Salute
Lawrence Tierney was also a store security guard in the simpsons
@@Instasamps I missed that episode!
“It’s my way or the highway, what’s it gonna be mister pink?”

Tierney was great in Reservoir Dogs
The look Jerry gives to George when he was trying talk Jerry up, like yeah "he's the comedian" , priceless.
This guy would make Joe Davola tremble in fear.
Watching Seinfeld for the first time. Burst out of laughing when Elaine's dad cough at the moment when George is trying to shake his hand. So simple yet so funny.

Frank Costanza definitely needed to meet Elaine’s father.
That would have been awesome
@@melodiefrances3898 it would have been psychotic 😆😆😆😆😆
If you ignore the laugh track in the background, the tension is almost suffocating.
Laugh track?!
Would have been interesting if Elaine's father and Mr. Bookman met
Brilliant!
That's like an unstoppable force against an immovable object.
Woulda been a great spinoff....Bookman and Benes. Couple of old Korean war vets scaring the crap out of everyone.
They were really frighten by this actor enough not to invite him back. Meantime, we wish he had been back, being one strong, funny character. Can you imagine Frank Costanza meeting this guy?
Frank would be whimpering like a little baby doge.
Even Tarantino thought he was a nut
He was so serious. I don't think he knew how to be funny but it just came out that way bec of the dialogue. They said he was getting upset when people were laughing when he was saying his lines. They had to explain to him it was suppose to be funny
Obviously the greatest actor ever
I recognized the guy from Reservoir Dogs when I first saw this episode
Ah, the days before cell phones and texting.
I don’t think there’s an appointment in my life we’re I didn’t want the other guy to show up
Ain’t that the truth 😂😅
Tierney scared everyone.
lol "We're frightened and we have to go home!"
I love Elaine’s father! I wonder why they didn’t use him more!
Apparently Lawrence Tiereny was a nut job behind the scenes.
He was kind of a nutcase. They didn't want to work with him anymore.
He apparently stole one of the kitchen knives off the set and Jerry caught him...the actor(cant thinks of his name now)has a long history of very bizarre behaviour

Laurence Tierney also played Dillinger in the 40's and the Boss in Reservoir Dogs - outstanding Character Actor
I've seen this sketch a hundred times, and every single time I'm rolling on the floor, especially with the line about the tail gunner. LOL!!

I wonder how Kramer would've behaved had he met Alton Benes.
Kramer was in the Army but he can't talk about it. It's classified.
Kramer would have jumped out of his seat every time the old man talked.
With Kramer's Chrasmia he would have been fine.
He would have been totally chillax and well-behaved. That's how odd he is 😂
Probably would have made great friends with him. He befriends an extremely surly soup chef in a later episode, whom everyone else is terrified of.
