I'm proud to this day, that everyone that was there realized we can make meals for first responders... now its known as the Oklahoma standard.....
Only reason I didn't make it to the convention center was, I overslept due to working graveyard shift..... I'm betting that no one else has even posted this comment on here...

Because the night before I seen it all the way I seen it that day. My teacher turned on the TV and right there on tv was News about the bombing and my classmates and teacher's was watching it like it was their first time. I kept telling them we seen this before then it hit me everything that happened that day I already seen in my sleep.

((...we do know what makes life worth living. The people ...loved and they were loved. They were mothers and fathers; they were husbands and wives; sisters and brothers; sons and daughters; friends and neighbors. They had hopes for the future and they had dreams that were not yet fulfilled.
And if there’s anything to take away from this …it’s the reminder life is very fragile. Our time here is limited and it is precious. And what matters at the end of the day is not the small things, it’s not the trivial things, which so often consume us and our daily lives. Ultimately, it’s how we choose to treat one another and how we love one another.
It’s what we do on a daily basis to give our lives meaning and to give our lives purpose. That’s what matters. At the end of the day, what we’ll remember will be those we loved and what we did for others. That’s why we’re here.)) - President Obama 🔥 🔥

@@alexniemann4387 True, but what I meant by my post is that because tornadoes occur more frequently than bombings we as society know what to expect when a tornado strikes and know what to do in order to be able to successfully protect ourselves. Bombings are a rare occurrence and we really don't know when or where the bomb will go off or what the bomb looks like or even why the bombing happened in the first place. It's why we as society need to know to be on the lookout for any suspicious items and be aware that if we see something suspicious then we should say something. Twelve years prior to the bombing in Oklahoma City; the IRA set off a car bomb outside of the Harrod's Department Store in London during the Christmas shopping season, killing or injuring dozens of shoppers and employees inside Harrod's along with several pedestrians and motorists in the vicinity of the bomb.
