Fenix TK11 Tac LED torch is specifically designed for Military and Law Enforcement professionals. With up to 1600 lumens of power from one 18650 battery (not supplied), Tactical and Duty modes easily selected by a rotary collar at the tail of the light, fast strobe access, fast brightness selection and a durable all metal tail cap, TK11 Tac delivers in critical environments.
This compact Fenix torch features a combined throw and wide area flood beam for reliable all in one lighting with an impressive 335m beam reach. All functions can be operated single handed via the patented mechanical dual switch system that offers a reliable mechanical rotary mode selector / lock out function and a silent tactical switch.
The light can run from either a rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery or 2 x CR123 batteries, and to enhance reliability in tough environments the battery tube features a shock absorbing spring at both ends. This avoids instantaneous power failure when weapon mounted and protects the battery from external impact, further enhancing critical reliability.
The newly developed Advanced Pulse Frequency signal transmission technology uses a digital switch signal instead of the usual current signal to greatly increase reliability. Combined with patented mechanical switches this allows Fenix to create a smaller, more efficient light that is much less prone to switching interference than similar magnetic tail cap systems.

I love the light. I own one. I also own the PD36TAC. I love that light too.
What I have realized that I do not like is the tailcap. It gets dirty and also gets water in it and it either sticks or the water gets trapped and squishes when you press it and you can't get the water out. That's definitely a drawback for me at this point and I hope Fenix addresses/changes this design flaw soon. No more of these buttons for me

Great review of the TK11 TAC.
Very thorough table top presentation of of all component parts that come in box.
The addition of close up pics of component parts that you are describing within video greatly enhance your presentation.
Your indoor and outdoor demonstration of lighting modes was also thorough.
The fog seemed to diffuse beam quite a bit. I'd like to see this in use on a clearer night so as to compare the amount of flood/throw of beam.
Have you any plans on doing a comparison video/videos of all the various brands of torch, like for like, that you have reviewed to date?
    Keep up the great work.
Take care of your family and stay safe my friend. ATB 👍

to be honest i would take this one over the X pro ...mainly due to the strobe as i see this as a good defense system ...just today a few total smack heads wandering around the woods but at night ...the strobe could be used if trouble came to a head to ensure falling back to a safer location.
    peace pall
