Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.

The “smelled it when nauseous, so now it makes me nauseous” thing is so true! Got pregnant April of 2020 and I still hate hand sanitizer smell
yes agree. Certain washing powders I can't use anymore.
Omg, so my husband and I went to a new coffee shop we found while I was ten or so weeks pregnant (so, while I was MEGA nauseous) and even though the place was really nice I narrowly avoided losing it in the restroom. And even after the birth I still couldn't go inside due to the bad association. We'd pull up and I'd start feeling sick

What's terrible is that my 3yo sneaks toothpaste to eat when she uses the bathroom. And then wants to snuggle up to me with toothpaste breath.

My wife likes to sneaky "fart attack" me while I'm in the verge of sleeping and trap it in our blankets. I laughed so hard, well done on the video.

I have a wife who was pregnant thrice. She'd get mad at any time I could do something she can't, like have beer or hide.
Mood. Like I wasn't at happy hour multiple times a week with him before pregnancy 🤣🤣🤣

Patty's day the first time. 😂 we went to see everyone at the bar and I wasn't having any symptoms besides smelling everything and sore boobs. So I took the test in the bathroom 😭 surprise! I must've been white as a ghost because I walked out and pushed my whisky n coke to my husband and his parents guessed before I even sat down

I cried about EVERYTHING!
literally bawl my eyes out cried, and had no idea why or how to explain it.
I hated it.
heartburn and an emotional train wreck.
it was awful.
Definitely missed the emotionally-charged crying over little things. The nausea thing was spot on. I worked through almost all of my first pregnancy and I had some awful days in there, but none of it was from OUR work. Our sub sandwich place used to be a KFC (we were in a mall) and I could smell the rotting chicken scraps in the drain pipes that no one could get to.
Taylor always finds a way for Heidi to incriminate herself when she thinks they're wrapped. 😂😂😂

I used to lay on a camping mattress on the living room floor and let the kids (2 of them at that time) crawl all over me. We called me “Mommy mountain”. It was the only way I felt capable of interacting with them. God, it’s a miserable feeling. I used to cry any time anything fell on the floor because it was such an ordeal to pick anything up. I used to kind of think I wanted a fourth, but tge thought of being pregnant again with three of them climbing on me was too much. Hubby got the snip!!

Currently 6 weeks and THE SMELLS!!! Oh my gosh, EVERY smell makes me 🤮 soap, laundry stuff, food like every food all make my stomach start doing curls 😵💫🤢

Lol 😆 too funny....and the ending was great. 😆 As for me I didn't fart much....im guessing because i didn't have process food of course ...but then I couldn't eat food as time went on...any sweet I couldn't eat...even fruit...anything with sugar substitute couldn't eat...I couldn't eat meat...couldn't flavor my food with onions or garlic....then the last 2 months...I had rice, mash potatoes, green beans, crackers....which vegetables I couldn't stand because it will get string like in the back in my throat...the texture of rice I couldn't do then it became mash potatoes and crackers....I got morning sickness anytime of day or night and on top of that I got sick from food.. yes I lost 15 pounds lol 😆

Ahhh the pee puking😖 I puke in the toilet then flip and sit down because im gonna pee my pants, then puked between my legs into the toilet because I couldn't anywhere else! SSOO ATTRACTIVE 👍
I had to buy a puking bucket for that very reason!

My wife banned me from making and even eating tacos in the house for 9 months because the smell made her nauseous. If I even went into a Mexican restaurant she said she could smell it on me lol. I got them at a food truck and ate them outside. Weird part is she normally loves tacos.
I had to ban fish and all seafood from our house. Guess what hubby's favourite food is 🍱
definitely right about the smells.......to this day (40 years later), i still can't handle the smell of lemon dish soap. instant barf.

I complained about being fat all the time because I was so bloated and my stomach got so big but it was all poop because I was constipated so I would try to act like the baby was bigger even though it was the size of a grape and I was acting like it was third trimester
Bloated like crazy. And the meds they gave me so I wasn’t puking made me constipated - so I basically had to choose between constipation or vomiting every day.
Ahhh I'm going through that now, everyone's like "you look pregnant, are you pregnant?!" Lol I'm 11 wks and have been huge and bloated for over a month!

Aww, man, it doesn't go away? I'm 10 weeks with my first, and my husband informed me that last night I did a Chef Boyardee fart in my sleep. I was hoping the gas goes away after the baby comes 😕

The farting and nausea were my whole nine months... I remember literally assblasting in an underground car park and the smell made me puke but it was so loud it funny,I was laughing at the same time.
My husband had worse gas and cravings then I did. The OB told him he needed beano 😅
I'm in a minority here but if my husband were to do a parody of me, it would involve a lot of hand signaling, sipping soda water before answering a question, and sucking on lollies (aka candy) because the hypersalivation is so bad, I literally can't talk otherwise. Oh, and a pillow to catch the drool at night >.

I used to have to take the train to work and would eat an entire thing pf mentos because everyone on the train had such and intense smell. It was B.O., bad breath, wet dog when it rained, cigarettes, fabric softener, and just the general smell of the train too. I was terrified that i would puke all over every one at once.

I’m on my 4th kid. The farting goes away for me somewhat. Not completely but definitely not as bad as when I’m pregnant. I’m almost to my 2nd trimester and just wanna relax and not work or do anything for the most part. Other times that’s all I wanna do is work or go to the store. It’s crazy. All my pregnancies I’ve had morning sickness but this has been the least amount of throwing up. But the nausea is there just enough to literally be annoying. Mine usually comes around 6 weeks. And goes away around 12 weeks. I’ve got 3 boys and I’m hoping this one is a girl. If not then that’s fine I’ll love him anyway. My mom has a big family so for me this is literally nothing compared to her. She’s got 4 times as many kids as me. Literally.

I dont agree with all of it that she says. I'm so sorry she dekt like crap but I didnt get sick too bad and i worked my whole pregnancy. Was working when I got pregnant and didnt take my leave until about 10 days before she was born. But I'm grateful that I didnt get sick. My sister had hyperemesis gravidum where your violently ill through much of your pregnancy. She had to be hospitalized because she was literally starving to death and dehydrated because everything came up immediately.

Well, the farting part would be accurate for my first trimester … and the smell was deadly 🤢 Gave me even more nausea. Thank God it got a lot better some weeks ago.

Not true, I only slept at night, never had issues needing to pee, I went on a health food diet and juiced with only one craving (Saganaki), my sex drive was absolutely normal which is good bc active (not dead fish sex), strengthens your pelvic floor and I never once got nauseous.
My meaning? Simple, pregnancy is an entire community of possible symptoms, ailments and changes. No one woman can ever say how it will be for the next and I don't think we should Dane to inform others. I know so many women who were terrified to get pregnant bc of the horror stories and for me, although I didn't like having a big stomach, and the aches or stretch marks, I didn't even mind labor bc it was all totally worth it for my baby boy.
EVERY woman's experience is different from the next just like every pregnancy can be different from your personal last.
So: If you can afford to finances, patience, intellect and time wise, and ya want to, be fearless and JUST DO'S IT! Regardless of how long it takes to kindle, the practice is fun!
