- Gunther is the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time but he will undoubtably want more. So what if Gunther won the world championship? I'm going to show you how I'd do it using WWE 2K23.

Gunther is one of the guys that makes the IC title feel as big as the world championship since the Miz. And as always your Rollins impression is spot on.
I also felt Doplh Zigger run during the Authority Era is over looked when he defending it constantly hell, that great 2nd best IC match with him, Cersaro and Tyson Kidd was a great tv title match on Smackdown.
If you never seen it, I recommend checking it. After that Match Cersaro and Kidd became a tag team because they had great chemistry in that match, and I also loved their tag team.

Seriously this is one of the best ways to make the WHC feel special. I would swap out Hayes for Gable, but absolutely 10/10
I’d also have Gable beat Gunther clean, Gunther is too focused on Seth Rollins and Gable takes advantage of that to win the Intercontinental championship!
Definitely agree would of used alpha academy and gave gable the belt everything else was dope

If I’m being 100% honest, I would have Gunther win the royal rumble and win against Rollins at Mania. Honestly, Gable should have dethroned Gunther and the only other three options in my opinion are Ilja Dragunov, Bobby Lashley, and Bron Breakker. One of them should beat Gunther BEFORE the royal rumble. Gunther then wins it and challenges and defeats Rollins via pin fall to win the world heavyweight title. The story is still WONDERFUL though. I wanna see a Bray Wyatt memorial show booking, but that’s just me. Keep doing u Murfs. I love these storylines.
Honestly I prefer lashley to go for Roman’s titles, bron breaker and ilja would be great choices to dethrone Gunther tho.

@@ethanburdett2851 Hayes beating Gunther while still being NXT champ is just weird, he needs more than just a couple weeks on the main roster to be able to not only win a title, but be the first person ever to pin Gunther on the main roster. Plus this whole story forgets that Damian holds MITB.

Rollins' character is a natural heel and IMO he works much better that way. Finn was the babyface in their summerslam fued either way tho ngl.

Here's an idea for a vid: Call up Gigi Dolin & pair her with Austin Theory & Grayson Waller, she already has experience in a faction having been the third member of Toxic Attraction & has worked with Theory on the Indies in Evolve & WWN so she wouldn't be out of place. Hell, while you're at it you can even put Pretty Deadly in the stable as well to complete it. This could lead to a potential storyline with The Way, in which Theory has his own inner conflicts, slowly turning face as he contemplates which side he follows, the people who were basically his family or a bunch of opportunistic, narcissists who banded together to better their chances.

I would prefer if Damian Priest shows up at that Royal Rumble match and cashes in at Seth, walking out as champion. Therefore, Gunther would get even more furious and would enter later at the men's royal rumble (just like becky in 2019 or nia in 2019 at the men's rumble) and win the whole thing, building a WM match for the title between Gunther, Damian and even Seth.
