According to a website- Ryan Reynolds has let out that there will be no "Green Lantern 2". He said he was asking if he could play the Flash instead in the Justice League film- but they told him he was only going to be allowed to return as the Green Lantern. After the first film was so unsuccessful- he decided his days of playing the role were over.

i dont care what anyone says i liked this movie, while yes it could have been better and should have spent more time in space, but for what it was, its an alright movie it got the character of hal jordan portrayed farely well, kilowog, tomar re and sinestro were pretty cool, the villain sucks but aside from that i dont really have too much to complain about, and to be honest i liked it a lot more than thor or cap first avenger (i am dead serious) wish the movie made more becuz a sequel could have easily fixed all the problems like make sinestro the main villain and have everything take place in space and with the lanterns
Eric Lukacs I feel like this movie was actually better than "Thor" and should have gotten two sequels. It had been planned as a trilogy and Warner Bros. would rather disappoint all the fans than spend the studio's money getting the sequels made. Sony did the very same thing deciding to let Spider-Man become part of the MCU right away rather than go ahead with making the next sequel "The Amazing Spider-Man 3". I am tired of planned films always being scrapped and replaced with unnecessary reboots.

I did not know who he was back then- so I did not really pay attention to how well he had played the character. Since I am not actually a fan of that character- I do not really care if he plays him or not. I just wanted him back for the Green Lantern sequel.

He will first appear in the team-up film coming out in 2017 and then again in its sequel coming out in 2019. Then he will have his own film in 2020- which is probably going to completely skip the origin story. It is unknown at this time if it will be Hal Jordan or if he is going to possibly be Guy Gardner, Kyle Rayner, or Jon Stewart.

Awesome movie, can't stop watching it. I think Parralax should of looked like what he looked like when he was imprisoned in the green crystally stuff.
